## Description

Trim overgrown branches, cut firewood, or tackle yard cleanup with a 15-inch reciprocating saw blade built for wood-cutting tasks. The 6 TPI Japanese-style teeth are designed for fast, coarse cuts through branches and timber.

The curved arc edge and chip-clearing tooth design support controlled cutting in dense or green wood. Chromium-vanadium steel provides a durable blade material for demanding outdoor work.

If your priority is fine, detailed cuts, a finer-tooth blade suits a different job. This four-blade set is focused on pruning and processing thicker wood.

## Tech summary
- Type: Reciprocating saw blades
- Model: 073013
- Length: 15 inches
- Tooth profile: Japanese style, 6 TPI
- Material: Chromium-vanadium steel
- Design: Curved arc edge with triple-ground offset teeth and deep gullets

The coarse tooth spacing is intended for quick wood removal, while the deep gullets help clear chips as you cut. The curved profile is designed to reduce binding, cutting resistance, and blade deflection, supporting a smoother, more controlled cut through branches and logs.

## Best use cases
Use these blades for pruning, trimming thick branches, cutting wet or dry wood, and preparing firewood. They’re also specified for logs up to 300mm in diameter, making the set useful for outdoor maintenance where branches and larger pieces of timber need to be cut with a reciprocating saw.

The 15-inch length and 6 TPI tooth pattern are suited to substantial wood-cutting tasks rather than fine finish work. Buyers praise the blades for pruning and cutting through thick bushes, and also highlight their sharpness and durability. Those comments reflect customer impressions, while the product’s stated design features—the arc edge, Japanese-style teeth, and deep gullets—explain its focus on wood and yard work.

## Included in the package
The set contains four 15-inch Japanese-tooth reciprocating saw blades. Keeping four blades together gives you a matching set for recurring pruning and firewood-cutting jobs.

## Questions before you buy
**What types of wood can these blades cut?** They’re designed for branches, wet wood, dry timber, firewood, and logs up to 300mm in diameter.

**Which saw brands are listed as compatible?** The listed brands are DeWalt, Bosch, Makita, Black & Decker, Milwaukee, Porter Cable, Skil, and Hitachi. Match the blade to your saw’s reciprocating-blade fitting before use.

**What does 6 TPI mean for the cut?** It describes the tooth spacing: these Japanese-style blades have six teeth per inch and are designed for fast, coarse cutting in wood.

## Is it worth it?
For outdoor pruning and wood processing, this set brings together a long 15-inch blade, a coarse 6 TPI Japanese tooth profile, and an arc edge designed for controlled cutting. The four-piece pack is a practical fit for homeowners and yard-care users who regularly trim branches or prepare firewood with a compatible reciprocating saw.
