## Description

For trimming thick branches, cutting firewood, or clearing overgrown areas, GRENPRO 073012 reciprocating saw blades are made for outdoor woodcutting with a compatible saw. This set includes four 12-inch blades with a 6 TPI Japanese tooth profile.

The curved arc edge is designed to support controlled cutting and help reduce binding and blade deflection. Chromium-vanadium steel gives the blades a durable construction for pruning and wood-cutting tasks.

Need a pruning blade for a reciprocating saw rather than a separate cutting tool? This four-pack is built around that practical use.

## Pros

The Japanese-style teeth have a coarse 6 TPI profile for fast cuts through wood. Triple-ground, offset teeth and deep gullets are designed to clear chips as you cut, helping reduce clogging and friction in green or dense timber. That tooth geometry is useful when yard work moves between branches, wet wood, dry timber, and firewood.

The arc edge adds a distinctive shape to the blade. It is intended to keep the cut smooth and controlled while helping the blade track through thicker wood. For pruning, that can be useful when working through overgrown branches or cutting logs up to 250 mm in diameter, as described for these blades.

Made from chromium-vanadium steel, each blade is suited to demanding outdoor woodcutting. Customers have also praised the blades’ sharpness, cutting performance, and durability, including for thick bushes. Those comments reflect buyer impressions rather than a performance guarantee.

## What to know

The package contains four 12-inch Japanese-tooth reciprocating saw blades. Their 6 TPI tooth spacing is intended for wood, with pruning, branch trimming, and firewood preparation among the stated applications. The blades are silver and made from chromium-vanadium steel.

They are listed as compatible with reciprocating saws from DeWalt, Bosch, Makita, Black & Decker, Milwaukee, Porter Cable, Skil, and Hitachi. Match the blade to a reciprocating saw in this compatible group before starting a job. The set is a practical way to keep replacement blades available for ongoing yard maintenance without switching to a different blade format for each wood-cutting task.

## Best use cases

These blades are suited to outdoor work such as pruning trees and shrubs, trimming thick branches, cutting wet or dry wood, and processing firewood. For example, when clearing branches after routine yard maintenance, the 12-inch blade and coarse Japanese tooth profile are designed to move through wood while the arc edge supports controlled tracking. The stated cutting range also includes logs up to 250 mm in diameter.

If your pruning routine already uses a reciprocating saw, this set offers a purpose-built woodcutting blade approach, a separate chainsaw-based setup is another tool choice for yard work. Buyers describe these blades as effective for pruning and thick bushes, and some particularly appreciate their sharpness and perceived durability.

## Is it worth it?

GRENPRO’s four-pack brings together the key features for recurring pruning and woodcutting: a 12-inch length, 6 TPI Japanese teeth, an arc edge, and chromium-vanadium steel. The set is a solid fit for homeowners or yard-care users who have a compatible reciprocating saw and want blades intended for branches, thick wood, and firewood. Its focus on outdoor cutting makes it a clear choice for keeping pruning and wood preparation within the same saw-based workflow.
