## Description

A wrench set for mixed SAE and metric jobs keeps both measurement systems within reach, one built around a single standard may suit a narrower range of repairs. The GRENPRO 071063 set brings 22 ratcheting combination wrenches together in a roll-up pouch, with sizes marked on the tools and organizer for easier selection and storage.

Its 72-tooth ratcheting mechanism needs a 5-degree swing arc, a practical feature when a fastener is in a tight spot and there is little room to reposition the wrench.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Use the printed size markings to choose the right wrench for the fastener, then return it to its marked position in the roll-up pouch when the job is done. That setup is useful for keeping a vehicle repair kit organized or carrying a selection of tools between a home workspace and a shop. For a roadside or household repair, having SAE and metric sizes in the same set makes it easier to work across equipment that uses different measurement standards.

The set includes 11 metric sizes: 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 mm. Its 11 SAE sizes are 1/4, 9/32, 5/16, 11/32, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, and 3/4 inch. Check the fastener size before applying force, and seat the wrench securely on the nut or bolt.

## Pros

Chrome vanadium steel construction and a polished mirror finish give the wrenches a durable metal build with a smooth surface. The combination design pairs an open end with a 12-point box end, while the ratcheting action lets you work without lifting and resetting the wrench after every turn. Buyers often appreciate the pouch, portability, and usefulness for DIY and mechanic tasks. Feedback on durability, stability, and the ratcheting mechanism is mixed, so user experiences vary.

## Highlights

The 72-tooth gear is designed for a 5-degree working swing arc, which helps when a surrounding component restricts the space needed to move a wrench. The 12-point full-drive box end is designed to grip the fastener for tightening or loosening. Size markings on each wrench and on the Oxford cloth roll-up pouch make it simpler to identify tools and put them back in order.

For small-farm, shop, automotive, and home repair tasks, the combination of SAE and metric coverage can be more convenient than organizing separate sets by measurement standard. It suits you if you want a portable selection of common wrench sizes for varied repair work, with an organizer that rolls up for storage.

## Questions before you buy

**Which sizes are included?** The set has 11 metric wrenches from 6 to 18 mm in the listed sizes, plus 11 SAE wrenches from 1/4 to 3/4 inch in the listed sizes.

**How much room does the ratcheting mechanism need?** The 72-tooth mechanism has a 5-degree working swing arc, making it useful where wrench movement is restricted.

**How are the wrenches stored?** They fit into a roll-up Oxford cloth pouch with size markings to support organization and identification.

## Final verdict

For DIYers, mechanics, and anyone handling repairs across SAE and metric fasteners, the GRENPRO 071063 combines a broad size selection with a compact storage format. Its short ratcheting swing arc and marked roll-up pouch make it especially practical for organized work in a shop, at home, or on the road.
