## Description

This heavy duty couch support board strengthens sagging sofas and restores seating comfort with a simple addition under cushions. Designed for living rooms and family spaces, the board spans a large area to distribute weight and reduce dips, and it fits standard sofas with a 70 inch seat width. The long-tail keyword couch cushion support board appears here to match what many owners search for and to highlight the main use case, improving sagging seats quickly.

## Key takeaways

The GORILLA GRIP solution targets worn springs and compressed stuffing by adding a sturdy layer beneath seat cushions. **GORILLA GRIP Heavy Duty Couch Cushion Support Board** brings a durable plywood panel that stays put thanks to hundreds of PVC grip dots, so cushions sit firmer without slipping. Installation is straightforward and reversible, and the panels fold and stack to adapt to loveseats or sectional setups. Want a fast fix that doesn’t require tools or reupholstery?

## Tech specs

- Name: **GORILLA GRIP Heavy Duty Couch Cushion Support Board**
- Size: 21.5 x 70 in
- Material: plywood
- Thickness: .43 inch
- Capacity: 400 pounds
- What’s included: one foldable support board in grey

## Best use cases

Place the board between the couch frame and cushions to add immediate support where seats have sagged. It works well in homes with active families, rental properties that need quick upkeep, and for older sofas that still have good covers but weakened internal support. **It might not be a full repair** for frames that are broken or for seats with severe structural damage, but it extends the usable life of many couches by restoring seat level and comfort.

## Usage tips

Measure the inside width of your sofa from left inside arm to right inside arm before ordering to confirm the board fits. Slide the board with the PVC dots facing the frame and then place cushions back on top, adjusting position until the seating looks even. For smaller sofas, fold or stack panels as needed to get the best coverage. Keep one eye on cover edges for wear where corners meet upholstery, rounding protective corners helps reduce friction. **Grip dots** provide slip resistance and the **.43 inch plywood** offers a firmer feel that many users prefer over MDF or particle board.
