## Description

At 16 inches, the GOLSPARK drawing board gives kids a bright surface for doodling, writing, and tracing. Its acrylic and ABS construction pairs a clear drawing area with LED lighting that brings each stroke into view.

Five music modes add sound to a drawing session, while 14 light effects offer different ways to illuminate artwork. Children can switch between seven dimmable solid colors and seven dynamic modes.

For creative time at home or school, the rechargeable board includes seven markers and six tracing papers. Use its hidden stand for an angled display or the hanging chain and hook to mount it on a wall.

## What matters most

The lighting and music give this board more ways to make drawing engaging than a simple, unlit writing surface. Kids can choose a solid color or a dynamic light effect, then draw along with one of five tunes. The music can be muted with a long press, and the solid-color modes are dimmable for adjusting the look of the drawing area.

A built-in timer offers 30-, 60-, 90-, or 120-minute settings and automatically shuts the board off when the selected time ends. That makes it easier to set a defined window for a drawing session. USB-C recharging powers the board for up to 10 hours, and a battery indicator shows the remaining charge. Charging takes about 3–3.5 hours, actual use time varies with settings such as brightness and music.

The set includes the drawing board, seven markers, six tracing papers, a cleaning cloth, a spray bottle, a hanging chain, a wall hook, a USB-C cable, and a user manual. A pre-applied screen protector helps guard the drawing surface during everyday use.

## Best use cases

For freehand doodling, the light effects make the board a more colorful alternative to a standard dry-erase board. For guided drawing, the included tracing papers give kids a starting outline to follow. The horizontal layout works on a desk or table with the hidden stand, and the chain and hook offer a wall-mounted setup when floor or tabletop space is limited.

Customer feedback often highlights the fun of drawing with colorful lights, along with the rechargeable design and included markers. Some buyers also describe using the board for tracing or drawing together with children, making it suitable for shared creative activities as well as independent play.

## Who it’s for

This board is designed for kids ages 3–12 and suits families looking for a screen-free creative activity with more variety than markers and paper alone. Music, color choices, tracing sheets, and a timer give caregivers practical ways to shape a session, while children can use the board for doodles, writing, and art. It also works as a birthday or holiday gift for girls and boys.

## Before you decide

**How long does the battery last?** The rechargeable battery provides up to 10 hours of use. Brightness and music settings affect how long a charge lasts, and charging takes about 3–3.5 hours using the USB-C cable.

**Can kids trace pictures on it?** Yes. Six tracing papers are included, so children can follow outlines as well as create freehand drawings.

**How can the board be displayed?** Set it at an angle using the hidden stand, or hang it on a wall with the included chain and hook.

## Should you buy it?

Choose the GOLSPARK JSK-X19 for a kids’ drawing activity that combines a reusable writing surface with music, adjustable solid-color lighting, dynamic effects, and tracing materials. Its stand and wall-hanging option make it easy to adapt the setup to creative time at a table or on a wall.
