## Description

A 5W clip-on lamp, the Glocusent reading light attaches to a desk or headboard to put light where you need it. Choose from three color modes and five brightness levels to suit reading, studying, or detail work. Its flexible gooseneck lets you aim the beam, while a 30-minute timer adds a handy bedtime setting.

## Benefits
Use the amber, mild, or natural mode to tailor the light to the task. Amber is 1800K, mild is 3200K, and natural is 6000K, giving you distinct options for evening reading, everyday reading, and focused activities such as drawing or knitting. Five brightness levels let you fine-tune the light within each mode.

The 360° flexible gooseneck makes it easy to direct the light toward a book, notebook, or work area. Its clip has a 2.36-inch opening and anti-slip pads, so it can attach to a compatible desk edge or bed headboard without requiring a separate lamp base. That space-saving format is useful beside a bed or on a shared desk where surface area matters. A controller and 30-minute auto-off timer are built in for convenient bedtime use.

## The essentials
The light uses 36 LED beads arranged to illuminate the area you point it toward. It plugs in for power rather than relying on batteries, and the package includes a two-prong AC adapter. The 78.7-inch cord gives you flexibility when positioning the lamp near a bed or desk outlet.

The matte-finish lamp has an ABS base and measures 22.5 inches deep by 2.9 inches wide by 3.7 inches high. For choosing a bedside light, the main distinction is its clip-on design: it attaches to an edge instead of taking up the footprint of a freestanding lamp. Check that the surface you plan to use fits within the clip’s opening.

## Best use cases
For bedtime reading, attach the lamp to a headboard and angle the gooseneck toward the page, the amber mode and timer make it easy to set up a reading session before sleep. At a desk, the mild or natural mode and adjustable brightness can be used for studying, writing, or working on crafts. The same directional setup is practical for knitting, drawing, and other tasks where you want light focused on a specific area.

It also suits dorm rooms and bunk beds, where clipping a lamp to a suitable edge can free up desk or bedside space. The flexible neck lets you reposition the light as your activity changes, without moving the attached base.

## Questions before you buy
**How do the color modes differ?** The three settings are amber at 1800K, mild at 3200K, and natural at 6000K. You can pair them with one of five brightness levels to adjust the lighting for your activity.

**Can I use it without batteries?** Yes. The lamp plugs in, and a two-prong AC adapter is included. Its cord is 78.7 inches long.

**Does the clip fit every headboard or desk?** The clip opening is 2.36 inches, with anti-slip pads. Measure the edge where you plan to attach it to make sure it fits within that opening.

## Buying verdict
Choose this clip-on reading light when you want adjustable, directed lighting without setting a lamp base on the bedside table or desk. Three color modes, five brightness levels, a flexible gooseneck, and a 30-minute timer make it a practical fit for reading in bed as well as focused desk and craft activities.
