Glaheny Speaker Case in EVA

For JBL Go 4 or Go 5 owners who carry their speaker in a backpack, this case adds a shaped interior and a zippered outer shell to help keep it from shifting around with other gear.

A built-in mesh pocket gives small accessories like a charging cable a place to go, rather than leaving them loose in your bag.

The key distinction: this is the case only. The speaker and accessories are not included.

Technical details

The case is made from semi-waterproof EVA, with a soft lining and a custom-molded interior intended to hold the speaker securely and protect its surface from everyday bumps and scratches. Its exterior is described as rugged, and a 360-degree zipper opens around the case for access. Ports remain accessible while the speaker is held inside, according to the product information.

• Type: Portable speaker case
• Material: EVA
• Dimensions: 5.5 × 3.54 × 2.36 inches
• Storage: Built-in mesh pocket for cables and other small accessories
• Listed compatibility: JBL Go 4 and Go 5

The measurements describe the case, not the speaker. Although the product name also mentions Go 3, the fit description specifically identifies the Go 4 and Go 5, so don’t assume a Go 3 will fit based on that wording alone.

Requirements

This is an accessory for a compatible speaker, not a speaker bundle. The JBL speaker and any cables or other accessories shown are excluded. Before choosing it, match your speaker model to the compatibility information and consider whether the case dimensions work for the space you plan to carry it in.

Semi-waterproof is not the same as waterproof. The description does not specify protection against immersion or heavy exposure to water, so treat the case as everyday carry protection rather than a substitute for a fully waterproof setup.

Usage tips

For a short walk, commute, or day out, place the speaker in the molded interior and tuck its charging cable into the mesh pocket. That keeps the cable from sliding around beside the speaker when you set your bag down. The zipper closes the case around both, while the soft lining adds a layer between the speaker and the case interior.

Compared with carrying the speaker loose in a backpack, this gives it a dedicated compartment and some cushioning. It suits you if you want a compact way to carry a Go 4 or Go 5 with a small accessory. Not the best choice if you need a case with stated waterproof protection or want the speaker included. From the way it is set up, the benefit is organized, everyday transport—not a guarantee against every drop or wet condition.

Before you decide

Does the package include a speaker? No. It includes the protective case only, the speaker and accessories are not included.

Which speaker models are listed as compatible? The fit description names the JBL Go 4 and Go 5. The product name mentions Go 3, but the description does not confirm its fit.

Can you store a charging cable inside? The case has a mesh pocket intended for charging cables and other small accessories. No cable is included.

Is it worth it?

This case makes sense if your priority is keeping a compatible JBL Go speaker and a small accessory together, with a shaped interior instead of a loose pouch or an unprotected spot in your bag. Its EVA construction, lining, zipper, and mesh pocket serve that specific carry-and-storage purpose. The trade-offs are equally practical: it is case-only, the listed dimensions are for the case, and semi-waterproof does not establish full water protection. Choose it for organized everyday transport, look elsewhere if you need confirmed Go 3 fit or stronger stated protection from water.
