## Description

At 2.2" x 2.2" x 7.4", the GLACIER FRESH GF-370 is a plastic replacement refrigerator water filter sold in a three-pack. Its coconut-shell carbon block is described as helping remove impurities from water.

The listed compatible references include EDR1RXD1, W10295370A, WHR1RXD1, KAD1RXD1, P4RFWB, and 46-9930. The product details also name the Whirlpool WRS526SIAH and several GSC25C refrigerator models.

The stated service interval is up to 6 months or 200 gallons. Which matters more here: the replacement schedule, or a confirmed fit for your refrigerator? Both are worth checking against the model information before choosing a filter.

## Key points

This is an aftermarket replacement rather than a refrigerator or a filter system of its own. The three-pack gives you replacement filters for continued use, while the carbon-block design is intended for water used for drinking, cooking, coffee, or tea. The product information lists NSF as an external testing certification, but it does not identify a specific standard or provide contaminant-by-contaminant reduction figures. That makes it difficult to compare filtration claims in detail.

Buyer feedback is mixed on fit and results. Some customers say installation is straightforward and the water tastes good, while others report fit problems, an unwanted metallic taste, or water that still looks cloudy. There are also reports of filters popping out of the holder or getting stuck during removal. These are individual customer experiences, not a guarantee of what will happen with your refrigerator, but they make model matching and careful installation especially relevant.

## How to use it

Use it as a replacement only when your refrigerator matches a compatible model or filter reference in the listing. The stated lifespan is 6 months or 200 gallons, treat that as the product’s replacement guidance rather than a promise about how long it will last in every household. Water use and conditions may differ, and the provided details do not specify a separate schedule for different situations.

The product information does not include step-by-step installation or removal instructions. Follow the refrigerator manufacturer’s guidance for changing its filter, and avoid forcing the cartridge if it does not seat or release normally. That is a sensible precaution given the fit and removal issues some buyers describe.

## Getting the most from it

Before ordering, compare the refrigerator’s exact model number with the compatibility information, rather than relying only on a similar-looking filter code. The listed references cover multiple models, but customer reports show that fit can vary even among side-by-side refrigerators. Keep the package’s filter identification available when you replace it, so you can distinguish this cartridge from other replacement types.

Worth considering if your refrigerator is explicitly listed and you want a three-pack of replacement filters with a stated 6-month or 200-gallon interval. Buyers describe it as an alternative to name-brand filters and often mention easy installation, though feedback is not uniform. It might not be a great match if you cannot confirm compatibility or need detailed, contaminant-specific filtration data before choosing.

## What to clarify

**Which refrigerators does it fit?** The listed compatibility includes Whirlpool WRS526SIAH and several GSC25C models, along with filter references such as EDR1RXD1 and W10295370A. Match your exact refrigerator model to the compatibility details before use.

**How often should the filter be replaced?** The stated guidance is every 6 months or 200 gallons. The product details do not provide a more tailored schedule.

**What comes in the pack?** The listing specifies three water filters. It does not list additional components.

## Final verdict

The GF-370 is a practical format to consider when you have verified that your refrigerator takes one of its listed compatible filters and want three replacements in one pack. Its intended use and replacement interval are clear, but the source provides limited detail on specific filtration performance, and buyer reports on fit and removal are divided. If an exact match and detailed contaminant-reduction information are priorities, a filter with clearly documented model compatibility and filtration data may be a better fit.
