## Description

Some pet car seats focus mainly on a place to ride, others add cushioning and features that make the seat useful beyond the drive. The GL GLENSLAVE S05 combines a soft, raised perch with adjustable safety leashes, a shoulder strap, and access for a pet harness. It is designed for small and medium dogs and cats weighing up to 35 lb.

Its removable cushion and washable cover also make cleanup and everyday use more convenient.

## Strengths

A memory foam cushion, short-plush surface, and 6-inch egg-crate sponge foam base give pets a cushioned place to settle while traveling. The raised seat helps them see their surroundings, while the soft materials create a comfortable spot for a car ride. For a pet that likes to look out the window, this booster-style design offers more than a basic restraint alone: it pairs a defined seating area with padding and a place to rest.

Adjustable safety leashes, a shoulder strap, and bottom harness access are part of the travel setup. Together, these features help keep a pet positioned in the seat and reduce opportunities for driver distraction. The seat can be used in the front or back seat of a car, SUV, or truck. Side storage pockets add a handy place for small items needed during a trip.

## Worth noting

The seat is made with memory foam, short plush, and sponge, and comes in black. Its cushion can be removed, and the design can also be used as a pet bed at home, outdoors, or in a tent after the safety belt is removed. That makes it a practical choice for owners who want one cushioned resting spot for both car journeys and time away from the vehicle.

Buyers often praise the comfort and fit for small pets, along with the ease of installing and removing the seat. Feedback on the straps is mixed: while some appreciate the two-strap setup, some buyers report receiving a unit with one strap missing. The listed components include the dog car seat, one removable cushion, and two safety leashes.

## Cleaning & care

For routine cleaning, unzip the bottom to take out the foam, then wash the seat cover by machine or by hand. Removing the cushion lets you clean the cover without washing the foam along with it. After unpacking, allow the vacuum-packed pet bed 24–48 hours to regain its shape before use.

## When it makes sense

The S05 is a useful fit for small and medium pets that benefit from a cushioned, raised place to ride and a familiar bed-like spot outside the car. Its adjustable leashes and harness access support a more contained travel arrangement, while the removable cushion and washable cover help with upkeep between trips. Choose it when comfort, a booster-style view, and use at home or outdoors are all part of what you want from a pet car seat.
