## Description

When your priority is a cushioned place for a pet to ride, this booster-style car seat combines a soft resting surface with a raised base that helps small dogs and cats see their surroundings. Its beige short-plush cover and memory foam cushion make it a comfortable spot for everyday drives and longer road trips.

Sized for pets up to 35 pounds, it can be used in the front or back seat of cars, SUVs, and trucks. Adjustable safety leashes, a shoulder strap, and a bottom harness access point support a more secure travel setup.

## Key points

The GL GLENSLAVE S05 measures 17.8 x 17.8 x 18.9 inches. Its memory foam cushion sits above a 6-inch egg-crate sponge foam base, giving a small pet a padded perch from which to look outside. Short plush adds a soft surface for resting, while the included storage pockets keep small travel items close at hand.

This seat is designed for small and medium-sized dogs and cats weighing up to 35 pounds. The adjustable safety leashes help keep a pet settled in the seat, and the shoulder strap and harness access provide useful restraint features for car travel. Follow the restraint setup for your vehicle and pet harness so the seat and pet are secured appropriately before driving.

Buyer feedback often highlights the cushioned feel, comfortable fit for smaller pets, and ease of moving the seat between the car and home. Some buyers also report mixed experiences with the straps, including receiving a seat with one missing. The product includes safety restraint components, so check that these are present and ready to use before setting out.

## Care & maintenance

The seat is detachable and washable. To clean the cover, unzip the bottom and remove the foam first, the cover can then be machine washed or hand washed. Let the foam remain out of the wash, and allow the cover to dry before reassembling the seat for your pet.

The car bed arrives vacuum-packed. After opening it, allow 24–48 hours for the cushioning to regain its shape before use. This gives the foam time to expand and helps prepare the seat’s padded resting area.

## Getting the most from it

Use the booster in the front or rear seat of a car, SUV, or truck, with the adjustable leash and harness access suited to your pet’s travel setup. The raised, cushioned design is useful when a small pet benefits from a dedicated spot to settle and look out during a drive. For a quieter ride, give your pet time to get comfortable in the seat before a longer trip.

The seat also transitions to a resting place outside the car: remove the safety belt and place it in the side storage pockets to use the bed at home, outdoors, or in a tent. That flexibility suits pet owners who want one familiar cushioned spot for both travel and downtime.

## Should you buy it?

Choose the GL GLENSLAVE S05 if you want a washable, plush booster seat for a small dog or cat, with a defined weight limit of 35 pounds and a padded base for riding or resting. Its restraint features support car use, while the removable cover and bed-style setup make it practical beyond the drive. For trips with a smaller pet, it brings comfort, a raised view, and a flexible resting space together in one seat.
