## Description

For indoor cats that need places to climb, scratch, play, and rest, the Gitelsnour GCT024W brings those activities together in one vertical cat tree.

Its five levels include two enclosed condos, a hammock, a basket, and broad platforms, giving cats different spots to explore or settle in.

Need a single setup that offers both climbing space and private hideaways? The GCT024W pairs those features with a sisal scratching area and a removable cover on the top perch.

## Key points

At 70.5 inches high, this cat tower makes use of vertical space while its 21.7-by-15.7-inch footprint defines the floor area it occupies. A sturdy steel tube is part of its construction. The five-level layout gives cats routes to move between elevated perches and resting spots, while the two cozy caves offer tucked-away places to curl up.

The top platform measures 21.7 by 11.8 inches and has a removable cover. A larger central platform measures 21.7 by 15.7 inches, creating room for lounging or play. Sisal ropes provide a dedicated surface for scratching and batting, and the hanging hammock and basket add more places to perch or relax. The manufacturer recommends the tree for one to five cats and advises considering whether the individual platform dimensions suit each cat.

Buyer feedback often appreciates the straightforward assembly and appearance. Opinions on size and stability are mixed, with some customers finding it small and others reporting wobble or tipping when it is not supported. The included anti-tip strap is intended to be fastened to the wall during assembly to improve stability.

## Everyday use

The mix of enclosed and open spaces suits a room where cats move between active play and quiet rest. A cat can use the sisal ropes for scratching, climb through the levels, then choose a condo, hammock, basket, or upper perch for a break. In a multi-cat home, the separate resting spots offer different places to lounge, the manufacturer’s recommendation is one to five cats.

The overall dimensions are 21.7 inches long, 15.7 inches wide, and 70.5 inches high. Use those measurements to plan its position alongside nearby furniture and to consider how the platforms fit your cat’s size.

## Getting the most from it

Follow the included instruction manual and use the assembly tools supplied with the tree. Fasten the anti-tip strap to the wall during assembly, as recommended, to support the structure while cats climb and play. Once assembled, the different levels can serve as a compact activity area: scratching and batting at the ropes, moving between platforms, and resting in one of the enclosed or open spots.

## What to clarify

**How much floor space does the cat tree take up?** Its listed dimensions are 21.7 inches long by 15.7 inches wide, with a total height of 70.5 inches. The central platform is 21.7 by 15.7 inches, and the top perch is 21.7 by 11.8 inches.

**Where can cats rest or hide?** The layout includes two enclosed condos, a hammock, a basket, and elevated platforms, giving cats several enclosed and open places to settle.

**What does assembly involve?** An instruction manual and assembly tools are provided. The anti-tip strap is included and should be fastened to the wall during assembly for added stability.

## Final verdict

The GCT024W is designed for indoor cat households looking for one tall structure that combines climbing, scratching, lounging, and hideaway spaces. Its five-level layout, two condos, hammock, basket, and sisal play area make it a practical fit when you want varied activities in a defined floor footprint. Secure the included anti-tip strap to the wall as part of setup.
