Gitelsnour Cat Tree GCT005SW

For kitten owners looking for a place to climb, nap, and scratch indoors, this multi-level cat tree combines those activities in one setup.

The 42-inch tower has a condo, a deep basket, two platforms, and scratching surfaces. A hanging fur ball adds a play feature without taking up a separate spot.

It is described as suitable for small cats and kittens. The full footprint and weight limits are not provided, so those details may matter if you have a tight space or a growing cat.

Key specifications

The GCT005SW is a light gray cat tree made from P2-grade particle board and covered in plush. Its features include a cat condo with an entrance at the top, a deep basket, two large platforms, a scratching board, and four scratching posts at the bottom. A hanging fur ball gives kittens something to bat at between naps.

The layout offers distinct places for different routines: a kitten can climb to a platform, settle into the basket, or use the lower posts to scratch. Anti-tipping bars are included to help stabilize the structure, though the listing does not provide a weight rating or a full set of dimensions. If the tree will be placed near furniture or a walkway, plan around the stated 42-inch height and allow room for the platforms and basket.

Who it’s for

This setup is aimed at indoor kittens and small cats that benefit from having a few activity and resting spots in one tower. It makes sense if you want to redirect scratching toward dedicated surfaces while giving a young cat an elevated place to explore. For example, during a quiet stretch at home, a kitten could climb up to the basket, nap, then return to the lower scratching posts when it wakes.

The multiple levels provide more variety than a basic single-post scratcher, but this is still described as a small cat tree. Not the best choice if you need a size-rated structure for a larger cat or want published load and footprint measurements, those are not included, so matching it to your cat and room may be difficult without that measurement.

Everyday use

The condo and basket offer enclosed and open resting spots, while the platforms create stepping places between them. The top entrance is intended to make climbing up and down easier. That arrangement may suit a kitten that moves between play and rest rather than needing one large, open perch.

Assembly instructions and tools are included, and the listing says setup takes less than 30 minutes. That is the stated estimate, not a guarantee for every setup. The available details do not say whether the plush parts are removable or how they should be cleaned, which is worth bearing in mind if easy upkeep is a priority.

Before you decide

Does it include a place to hide? Yes. The tree has a cat condo, described as a cozy place to rest, with an entrance at the top.

Are there dedicated scratching areas? Yes. It includes a scratching board and four scratching posts at the bottom, intended to give cats alternatives to household furniture.

What comes with the tree for assembly? The listing says installation instructions and tools are included. It does not provide further details about the tools or assembly steps.

Final verdict

Choose the Gitelsnour GCT005SW if your priority is giving a kitten or small cat a compact, multi-level mix of climbing, resting, and scratching features. Its condo, basket, and several scratch surfaces offer more variety than a standalone scratching post. Skip it if you need confirmed dimensions, a stated weight capacity, or a tree intended for a larger cat, the available product details do not establish those fit requirements.
