## Description

This collapsible wash basin from GIMWA holds up to 2.4 gallons and is designed for quick cleaning of baby bottles, small toys, and other infant items while saving space during travel or at home. Lightweight and foldable, it works as a compact dish tub or portable sink for RVs and camping, offering a convenient way to rinse and soak without filling a full kitchen sink.

## Key Points

The basin folds flat to about 2.7 inches high for storage and unfolds to a practical depth of 7.8 inches, which is suitable for soaking dishes or small laundry. It includes carrying handles and a built-in drainer to make transport and emptying easier, and a thick silicone seal helps prevent leaks when it is filled. The unit weighs roughly 1 pound, making it easy to move between the kitchen, campsite, or bathroom.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **GIMWA Collapsible Wash Basin for Baby Bottles**
- Capacity: **2.4 gallons (approximately 9 liters)**
- Folded height: **2.7 inches**
- Depth when open: **7.8 inches**
- Weight: **about 1 pound**

## Benefits

Using a shallow, dedicated basin like this reduces the amount of water needed to rinse and soak baby items compared with filling a conventional sink, which can be helpful when conserving water on trips. The soft TPR sides allow the basin to keep its shape when open and to fold flat when not in use. The combination of rigid rims and flexible body creates a balance between stability and portability, which is useful in tight kitchenettes or camper layouts.

## Usage Recommendations

Place the basin on a stable surface when filled and avoid overfilling beyond the indicated capacity to keep the silicone seal effective. The handles make lifting easier, but support the bottom when carrying heavier contents to prevent strain on the sides. Consider using the built-in drainer outdoors or over a sink to control draining; according to the manufacturer, the materials are intended to be leak-resistant though prolonged exposure to sharp objects should be avoided to maintain the silicone seal.
