Gimars NEW-0609 6-in-1 Dog Grooming Scissors Set, 4CR Stainless Steel

Made from 4CR stainless steel, the Gimars NEW-0609 is a six-piece grooming set for dogs, cats, and other animals. It includes several shear styles rather than relying on one pair for every trim.

The set combines two straight scissors, thinning shears, curved scissors, a comb, and a storage case. Rounded tips are intended to make detail work around a pet’s face safer.

Would a mix of cutting styles be more useful than a single all-purpose shear? That depends on the areas you plan to groom and how much control you want over the finish.

How it fits

The scissors are listed at 11.02 inches long and 1.18 inches wide, with a 19.05-centimeter blade length. Their handles are described as ergonomic, and the scissors are ambidextrous, so the design is not limited to left- or right-handed users. A rounded point can be useful when trimming near the face, where a sharp tip may be less comfortable to maneuver.

For a home grooming session, the different styles let you use straight shears for general trimming, curved shears for shaping, and thinning shears when you want to work through coat bulk. The comb and storage case keep the other pieces together between sessions. This is a broader toolkit than a basic single-shear purchase, while remaining focused on manual trimming rather than a powered grooming setup.

Where it shines

The range of included tools makes the set relevant for owners who want to handle routine coat maintenance at home without buying each shear style separately. Buyer feedback highlights home use, ease of handling, and the organized case, some customers also mention using the scissors on poodles and puppies. At the same time, opinions differ on sharpness, cutting performance, durability, and grip. Those mixed impressions matter if consistent cutting results are your main priority.

The rounded tips and multiple shear shapes offer a practical starting point for small touch-ups, such as tidying hair around the face and shaping a coat with curved scissors. Worth considering if you want several manual grooming tools and a case in one set. It’s not for you if you need predictable cutting performance based on the information available, since buyer experiences on sharpness and cutting are mixed.

One product detail is unclear: the title describes a titanium coating, while the feature text refers to a ceramic coating. The supplied information does not resolve which finish applies, so the stainless-steel construction is the clearer basis for comparison.

Final verdict

Choose the Gimars NEW-0609 if you want a multi-style scissor set for home grooming and value having a comb and storage case alongside the shears. Its range of tools is more useful for varied trimming tasks than a single pair, but the mixed buyer feedback makes it harder to recommend for anyone who places a premium on consistently sharp, reliable cutting. The unclear coating description is another detail to keep in mind when comparing it with other sets.
