## Description

For a daily face shave, the Gillette Fusion5 pairs a reusable handle with four replacement cartridges. Its five anti-friction blades are designed for a close shave, while the lubrication strip helps the razor glide across skin. Need to shape sideburns or reach beneath the nose? A precision trimmer on the back of each blade head helps with those details.

## Highlights

This set includes one Fusion5 razor handle and four blade refills, so you have replacement cartridges ready for your regular shaving routine. The five closely spaced anti-friction blades are designed to help reduce tugging and pulling while delivering a close shave. That makes the cartridge format useful for covering the face and then refining areas that need a more defined edge.

The lubrication strip supports glide as you shave and fades when it is no longer providing an optimal shave. On the back of the cartridge, the precision trimmer helps reach areas such as beneath the nose and along the sideburns, where a full blade head can be less convenient for detail work. The handle is designed for control in wet conditions, making it suited to a shave at the sink as part of a regular grooming routine.

## Practical tips

Use the main five-blade surface for broader areas of the face, then turn to the precision trimmer for edging facial hair and cleaning up sideburn lines. The lubrication strip gives a visual cue as it fades, while each refill is rated for up to a month of shaves based on three shaves per week. How long a cartridge works in an individual routine can vary, the stated estimate offers a practical point of reference for planning replacements.

Buyer feedback often highlights smoothness and close shaving, including around the neck. Experiences are mixed on comfort, grip in wet conditions, and how long blades stay sharp, so those impressions vary from person to person. The design features remain straightforward: a five-blade cartridge, a glide-supporting strip, and a rear trimmer for detailed areas.

## Usage tips

For replacement cartridges, Fusion5 refills fit Gillette five-blade razor handles, excluding GilletteLabs. This set already pairs a handle with four refills, while the compatible cartridge system can also suit someone who already uses a qualifying Gillette five-blade handle. If choosing between a handle-and-refill set and a simpler razor purchase, this pack provides both the handle and multiple replacement cartridges in one set.

Keep the precision trimmer in mind when finishing the edges of a beard or mustache, or when working around the nose and sideburns. For a routine centered on a close face shave with detail work afterward, the two blade surfaces give you distinct tools in the same cartridge.

## Should you buy it?

The Fusion5 set is a practical choice for men who want a cartridge razor for regular face shaving, with four refills included for continued use. Its five anti-friction blades focus on close shaving, the lubrication strip supports glide, and the rear precision trimmer handles edging tasks. Choose it when you want one setup for both broad facial areas and smaller grooming details, rather than a razor intended only for basic coverage.
