Gifts2U Glow-in-the-Dark Cat Costume for Kids, Flannel Onesie with Purse

For Halloween night, dress-up at home, or a birthday party, this Gifts2U cat costume gives kids a playful animal look in a hooded flannel onesie. The outfit glows after exposure to light and comes with a cat purse and glitter mask, so the main costume pieces are ready for a coordinated look.

Sized for ages 5–6, the lightweight onesie has a full-front zipper and side pockets for small finds. Its roomy cut also allows space for layers underneath.

Strengths

The glow-in-the-dark effect adds a fun surprise after the costume has been exposed to light. For the listed glow effect, the product instructions recommend placing it under light for at least half an hour before wearing. That makes the outfit a distinctive choice for Halloween activities as well as imaginative play after the holiday.

Flannel gives the costume a soft, cozy feel, while the hood, cat details, and included accessories bring the look together. The set includes a gray cat crossbody purse and a glitter mask, with the mask color supplied in red or pink. The onesie’s full-front zipper makes changing straightforward, and the seat zipper allows bathroom breaks without taking off the entire outfit. What makes this set especially handy for a busy costume day? Those practical details let kids move between dressing up, playing, and taking a break with less fuss.

Key points

The costume is listed in size 5–6 Years, with a shoulder-to-hem length of 39.4 inches. Its relaxed fit is designed to leave room for layers when the weather is cooler. Paw cuffs and bows add cat-inspired detail, and the side pockets provide a place for small treasures during pretend play or a party.

The outfit can work beyond Halloween: its animal theme suits birthday celebrations, home dress-up, and everyday imaginative play. Compared with a simpler costume that provides only a single garment, this set adds a matching purse and mask to help complete the cat character. The printed pattern placement may vary, so each outfit can have a slightly different arrangement of the all-over print.

Buyers often praise the cute appearance, and some describe the fabric as soft and warm or appreciate the room for clothing underneath. Feedback on construction is mixed: some find it well made, while others mention stitching concerns and bows that can come loose. These impressions can help set expectations for a costume intended for both occasions and play.

Care & maintenance

The costume is machine washable, and a gentle cycle is recommended. Follow that care approach after wear to refresh the flannel outfit for its next Halloween event, party, or dress-up session. The glow effect is activated by light exposure, give it the recommended time under light before putting it on when you want the glow to show.

Should you buy it?

Choose this set for a child who enjoys cat-themed dress-up and would use a costume for more than one occasion. The glowing effect gives Halloween wear a playful twist, while the hooded flannel onesie, front and seat zippers, side pockets, purse, and mask support practical wear and imaginative play. For ages 5–6, it brings the costume and coordinating accessories together in one cat-inspired outfit.
