GiftInTheBox Black Cat Costume for Kids, Polyester Hooded Onesie with Tail and Gloves

Made from 100% polyester, this black cat costume comes as a hooded onesie for kids. A zipper at the front and a loose fit are intended to make dressing and moving around easier. The attached tail, cat-ear hood, and paw gloves create a coordinated look without assembling separate costume pieces. It’s designed for Halloween and other dress-up occasions, including school shows and themed parties.

Technical details

• Material: 100% polyester
• Format: Hooded, zip-front onesie
• Design: Black cat with an attached tail, cat ears, embroidered whiskers, and paw gloves
• Recommended sizes: Small for ages 5–6, Medium for ages 7–9, Large for ages 9–11

The age ranges are recommendations, not garment measurements, and the product information does not provide dimensions. That matters when choosing a size for a child who is between ages or needs a particular leg length. The listed range for Medium includes ages 7–9, while Large is recommended for ages 9–11.

Getting the most from it

The front zipper makes the suit straightforward to put on and take off, while the loose-cut design is described as allowing room to move. The product information also says children can wear clothes underneath on colder days. For a Halloween event, the one-piece format offers a simple alternative to pairing a separate outfit with individual cat accessories, for a school performance or role-play session, the hood and gloves help complete the animal character.

Buyer feedback is positive about the costume’s softness, appearance, warmth, and comfort, but fit opinions are mixed. Some buyers say it fits well, while others report a roomy fit or legs that feel too short. Reports about durability and the zipper are also divided: some describe them favorably, while others mention tearing early or zipper problems. Those accounts are worth weighing alongside the age-based size guidance, especially if the costume will be worn repeatedly.

What’s included

The set is described as a hooded black cat onesie with a soft tail attached at the back and a pair of cat-paw gloves. The hood has cat ears and embroidered whiskers. These pieces provide a ready-made cat look rather than requiring separate gloves or a tail, though the listed items do not include other costume accessories.

Buying verdict

Worth considering if you want a coordinated cat costume for Halloween, a themed party, or dress-up at home, and prefer a zip-front onesie over a mix of separate pieces. The polyester fabric, attached tail, and included gloves make the intended look clear, while the size guidance is based on age rather than measurements.

Better avoided if you need a predictable fit without checking measurements, or if you’re choosing mainly for repeated wear and want consistent reports about zipper and seam durability. The mixed buyer feedback doesn’t establish how any individual costume will hold up, so this set makes the most sense when its one-piece style and included details matter more than a guaranteed fit or long-term durability.
