## Description

A basic plug handles power at the outlet, the GHome Smart WP3 adds app, voice, and schedule controls for connected appliances. Its compact 2-by-2-by-1-inch size is designed to fit neatly into a home outlet. The four-pack lets you set up controls in several places, with no hub required.

## How to use it
Plug in a WP3 and connect it through the GHome app on a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The plugs also work with Smart Life and Tuya apps. Once set up, you can switch a connected appliance on or off from your phone, create schedules, or set an auto-on or auto-off timer. Recurring and randomized schedules are available for appliances you want to operate at set times or with varied timing.

For voice control, connect the plug to the GHome app first, then link it with Alexa or Google Home. You can also group plugs in the app and control multiple outlets with one tap. This approach is useful when you want to manage lamps or other compatible home appliances from an app or by voice instead of relying only on manual switching.

## Strengths
The main benefit is having several ways to control connected appliances: use the app for remote on/off control, set timers and schedules for routine operation, or use voice commands after linking the plug to Alexa or Google Home. Group control adds a practical way to manage multiple plugs together, while the four-pack supports setting up more than one outlet around the home.

Compared with a plug used only for manual switching, the WP3 adds scheduled and app-based control for appliances you want to operate without reaching for the outlet. The compact form also helps keep the plug unobtrusive in everyday spaces. Buyers’ comments on compatibility are mixed: some describe smooth use with Alexa and Smart Life, while others report pairing difficulties. Their feedback reflects individual experiences rather than a guaranteed outcome.

## Before you decide
**Which Wi-Fi network does setup use?** Connect the plug through the app on a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, it does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi. Keep it connected to 2.4GHz for app control.

**What is the maximum appliance load?** The listed maximum is 1,200 W and 10 A. Check that a connected appliance stays within those ratings before use.

**How do Alexa and Google Home control work?** Set up the plug in the GHome app first, then link it with Alexa or Google Home. Direct linking without the initial app setup is not supported.

## Should you buy it?
It suits you if you want app and voice control, timers, and schedules across several outlets without adding a hub. The GHome Smart WP3 four-pack is designed for home appliances within its 1,200 W, 10 A maximum load, and its compact size makes it a practical fit for everyday outlet-based control.
