Prefer a fingerprint, a code, or app access within Bluetooth range? This indoor door knob also includes mechanical keys for backup. Its polished aluminum finish suits a range of home and office interiors. ## Key points Choose from fingerprint access, keypad passwords, app control within Bluetooth range, or a mechanical key. The lock can store up to 20 fingerprints and 20 passwords, giving household members their own access method and letting you share permanent or temporary codes. App management also provides access logs and settings for silent mode or passage mode, so you can tailor the lock’s behavior to the room and routine. Auto-lock engages five seconds after unlocking when the interior thumb turn is set to Normal mode. That makes it useful for a bedroom or office door where you want the lock to secure itself after someone enters. Fingerprint data is stored locally, and the lock has a rechargeable 400mAh battery with a low-battery indicator. The round knob is made of aluminum and has an ambidextrous design. Customer feedback highlights straightforward installation, while experiences with fingerprint reading, Bluetooth connection, and battery life vary. The app’s access options and auto-lock provide practical ways to manage a door, setting up authorized fingerprints and passwords is an important first step. ## Everyday use This model is designed for indoor doors in settings such as bedrooms, apartments, homes, garages, and offices. Use a fingerprint for everyday entry, assign a password to a household member or guest, or use the app to manage access and review logs. Silent mode can suit a room where keypad or lock sounds are unwelcome, while passage mode supports continuous access when you do not want the door to lock after each entry. The aluminum knob has a polished, glossy silver finish. Its dimensions are 3.93 inches long by 9.05 inches wide, and it weighs 0.75 kg. For buyers choosing between a basic keyed knob and a connected entry lock, the PRO adds biometric and password access alongside the mechanical key option. ## How to use it Install the knob using the included installation hardware and a screwdriver. It is specified for doors from 1-3/8 to 2-1/4 inches thick, so match the door thickness to that range before installation. The handle is size-specific and attaches with a setscrew. Pair the app, then add authorized fingerprints and set a passcode before relying on those methods for entry. When the lock has not yet stored fingerprints, it temporarily allows any fingerprint to unlock it, completing setup establishes the intended authorized access. Choose Normal mode on the interior thumb turn to use the five-second auto-lock function. The rechargeable battery can be charged through its USB Type-C port, and mechanical keys provide another way to unlock the door. ## What to clarify **How many fingerprints and passwords can it store?** It supports up to 20 fingerprints and 20 passwords, with app management for adding access and sharing permanent or temporary codes. **Will it fit my door?** It is specified for doors 1-3/8 to 2-1/4 inches thick.
