## Description

For adults who want to follow weight trends at home, the GE Fit Prime pairs a clear LED readout with Bluetooth tracking. Its four sensors provide readings in 0.1 lb increments, and the Fit Profile app can record weight and BMI. Unlimited user profiles make it practical for shared household tracking.

## Key takeaways
Step onto the scale for a reading, then use the app to keep weight and BMI information together over time. Bluetooth connectivity links the scale to Fit Profile, which also works with Fitbit, Apple Health, and Google Fit. That gives you a way to keep measurements alongside other supported health data, rather than relying only on a number displayed during each weigh-in.

The LED display is designed for easy reading, while automatic shutoff helps conserve battery power. The scale uses four high-precision sensors and reads in 0.1 lb or 0.05 kg increments, with a maximum capacity of 400 lb. It measures weight, BMI tracking is available through the app. Customers often highlight the readable display and say the scale works reliably from the start. Feedback on durability and battery life is mixed: some describe it as sturdy, while others report it stopped working after a period of use, experiences with battery longevity also vary.

## Fit and sizing
The 11-inch by 11-inch tempered-glass platform gives you a defined standing area without taking up much floor space, and the 2.6-pound scale is lightweight to move or store. Its black finish and simple square shape suit a straightforward bathroom setup. The scale is intended for adults, and its 400 lb capacity accommodates a broad range of household weighing needs.

If you are choosing between a basic scale for occasional readings and a connected model for ongoing tracking, Fit Prime adds app-based weight and BMI records, plus support for multiple user profiles. This makes it a useful fit for households where more than one adult wants to keep a separate history. Its compact footprint also suits someone who wants tracking features without a large platform.

## Practical tips
For consistent readings, set the scale on a hard, flat floor and weigh yourself under similar conditions and around the same time each day. Before stepping on, wait for the display to show zero, stand still until the measurement finishes. These simple steps help make day-to-day comparisons more useful.

To connect it, open Fit Profile and enable Bluetooth on your phone, then add the Fit Prime device in the app. The app also lets you switch between pounds and kilograms when the scale is connected. Two AAA batteries are included, along with the digital scale and user manual.

## Is it worth it?
Fit Prime makes sense for adults who want more than a standalone weight reading: it combines a legible on-scale display with app-based weight and BMI tracking, support for unlimited profiles, and links to Fitbit, Apple Health, and Google Fit. The 11-by-11-inch tempered-glass platform keeps the setup compact, while the 400 lb capacity and clear increments serve routine home weigh-ins. It is a practical choice for a household that wants to track measurements in one connected routine.
