Gavimnal 28"+16" Silicone Wiper Blades for Nissan Altima 2016-2018

This set of silicone wiper blades replaces the front pair on compatible Nissan models and improves visibility in wet or dry conditions, making daily driving safer. The Gavimnal combination of a 28-inch driver blade and a 16-inch passenger blade uses a flexible reinforced steel frame and silicone wiping edge to maintain consistent contact with the windshield.

Key Points

These wiper blades fit Nissan Altima 2016-2017-2018 and Nissan Maxima 2015 through 2023 according to the product listing. Installation uses a J/U-hook arm for plug-and-play replacement, so no tools are required and the process is quick for most vehicles. The silicone construction is intended to resist wear and maintain pliability across different temperatures, which helps reduce streaking during rain or light snow. The set includes one 28-inch blade for the driver side and one 16-inch blade for the passenger side, and the manufacturer provides a 6-month product warranty.

Usage Recommendations

Before installing, verify the vehicle model and arm type to ensure compatibility with the J/U-hook connection. To install, press the release tab on the existing blade, slide it out of the hook, and snap the new silicone blade into place until it locks. For best performance clean the windshield and inspect wiper arms for damage; bent arms can prevent even wiping and shorten blade life. Consider replacing both front blades at the same time to maintain balanced pressure across the windshield, according to common maintenance practice.

Nuances and Limitations

Silicone blades tend to perform well in light rain and resist certain forms of degradation better than conventional rubber, according to the manufacturer description. However, silicone can attract dust in dry, dusty environments more than some coated rubber blades, which may require more frequent cleaning. The warranty period listed is six months, and longevity will vary with climate and driving conditions.
