## Description

Refresh a propane fire pit table with reflective cobalt-blue fire glass that catches daylight and adds color around the flames. Its 1/2-inch pieces offer a decorative alternative to ordinary lava rock. Use it to cover the fire feature’s floor and help conceal pipes and tubes. The 20 lb package is suited to dressing up an outdoor fire feature with a coordinated glass finish.

## Highlights

The mirrored surface gives the glass its distinctive look: it can sparkle in daylight and reflect the flames when the fire pit is in use. Cobalt blue adds a bold color accent, while the reflective finish brings extra visual detail to the fire feature. That combination makes the glass a practical choice when the fire pit’s appearance matters as much as its role as an outdoor gathering spot.

Made from tempered glass, these pieces are designed for use in a fire feature. The product is presented as an alternative to lava rock and as a way to cover the floor of a fire feature, including pipes and tubes. The manufacturer describes the glass as not melting, degrading, or popping, and as producing no ash or smoke. Buyers often praise its blue color, shine, and appearance around the flames. Feedback on piece size is mixed: some find it just right, while others expected larger pieces.

## Practical tips

Before choosing fire glass, consider the look you want inside the fire pit. Lava rock gives a more natural, stone-like appearance, reflective glass puts the focus on color and flame reflections. GASPRO’s cobalt-blue finish suits a fire feature where a clear, decorative accent is preferred. The 1/2-inch size gives the pieces a defined presence across the fire pit floor.

If the glass has been cleaned after delivery, let it dry before use, as directed by the manufacturer. When setting up a newly purchased fire pit table, check whether fire glass is already part of its supplied setup so you can plan the finish you want.

## Everyday use

For an evening on the patio, the blue glass can add a vivid surface around the burner and reflect the firelight as people gather nearby. In daylight, its mirrored finish contributes shine even when the fire is off. Covering the fire feature’s floor also helps create a more finished appearance by hiding visible pipes and tubes.

Choose this style when you want the fire pit to make a stronger visual statement than it would with plain lava rock. It works particularly well as a decorative surface for a fire pit table, where the glass can be seen both during use and between gatherings. Buyers also describe the color as enhancing the flame and adding a polished look to their fire features.

## Practical questions

**What is the fire glass made of?** It is made from tempered glass, with a reflective surface and cobalt-blue color.

**What size are the pieces?** The listed size is 1/2 inch. Buyers’ impressions of the piece size vary, so consider whether that scale suits the look you want for your fire pit.

**How should I prepare it before use?** If you clean the glass after receiving it, dry it before placing it in use, following the manufacturer’s direction.

## Final verdict

GASPRO fire glass is a fitting choice for a propane fire pit when you want a colorful, reflective finish instead of the more natural look of lava rock. The cobalt-blue pieces add visual interest in daylight and catch the flames during use, while helping cover the fire feature’s floor. Its 20 lb package and 1/2-inch size make it a defined decorative option for dressing up a fire pit table.
