## Description

Choosing a potty pad often comes down to coverage and easier cleanup. Gardner Pet ZHP002 XL pads measure 28 x 34 inches and have a thick, absorbent design with wrapped edges. Need a larger surface for a puppy, senior pet, or carrier? The XL format gives pets more room to use the pad.

## What matters most
The six-layer construction combines an absorbent core with a waterproof PE backing, while diamond quilting helps draw liquid into the pad. Edge barriers and an extended border are designed to help contain liquid at the sides, adding protection for floors and carpets. The back layer helps limit seep-through, and the unscented design is suitable for households that prefer pads without added fragrance.

These pads use a material blend that includes recycled post-consumer polyethylene and polypropylene, along with absorbent polymer, wood, and paper. The pack contains 30 disposable pads. Compared with choosing a smaller pad that covers less floor area, this XL size provides a broader spot for potty training or everyday indoor use. It can also serve as a liner in a travel carrier or beneath food and water bowls to catch spills.

## Getting the most from it
Place a pad flat on the floor in the pet’s usual potty area, or use it to line a compatible tray or carrier. Its 28 x 34-inch surface can be useful for puppies still learning where to go, older dogs needing an indoor option, and cats or other pets that use a designated pad area. The waterproof backing is intended to help protect the surface beneath it, while the absorbent center and edge barriers address liquid across the pad rather than only at its center.

The larger footprint also makes it practical when a smaller pad would leave little room around the target area. For trips, it can be placed in a carrier as a disposable liner, at home, it can go beneath a bowl to catch water or food spills. Keep the pad laid out smoothly so the absorbent area and wrapped edges can do their job.

## Usage tips
Set the pad in a consistent, accessible location and guide a puppy to that area during potty training. For a pet’s regular indoor setup, position it where the animal can step onto the surface comfortably. Replace the pad when it is soiled to maintain a clean area. Its disposable format makes it easy to remove and replace as part of a home or travel routine, without washing a reusable pad.

Buyers often praise the absorbency, thickness, durability, and generous size, with some noting that the pads hold up through extended use. Feedback on leak resistance is mixed, so placement on a suitable surface remains a practical part of using any disposable potty pad. The broad size and edge-wrapped construction are useful features when the priority is coverage around the pet’s designated spot.

## Is it worth it?
Gardner Pet ZHP002 brings together an XL 28 x 34-inch surface, a six-layer absorbent build, and wrapped edges in a 30-count pack. That combination suits households looking for a disposable pad for potty training, an aging pet’s indoor routine, or lining a carrier. If broad coverage and straightforward replacement matter more than a compact pad format, this size offers a practical way to create a defined spot for everyday pet care.
