## Description

The hard PC backplate and soft TPU grip frame give the FYOUNG NTT130D a protective, two-material design for Nintendo Switch 2. In light blue, it adds a built-in adjustable kickstand and removable Joypad covers while keeping the console’s ports, buttons, speakers, and vents accessible.

The case is designed to stay on when you place the console in the official dock for charging. Its textured ergonomic grips also provide a more shaped, anti-slip hold for handheld play.

## Why it’s worth it

This case combines a rigid PC backplate with soft TPU along the top edge and controller grips. The backplate is designed to help protect against drops and shocks, while the soft contact areas help guard against scratches during installation. That mix is useful for everyday handling when you want coverage without giving up access to the console’s controls and openings.

The built-in adjustable kickstand replaces the console’s stand, and the reinforced design avoids relying on a lower shell with a stand cutout. When you want hands-free tabletop play, unfold the stand, for charging, the case can go into the official dock without being removed. Precision cutouts keep the ports, buttons, speakers, and vents accessible while the cover is on.

## What to know

The protective cover is made for Nintendo Switch 2 and includes a case with detachable Joypad covers. The controller covers use soft, durable TPU, and the grip texture is designed to support a secure, comfortable hold during longer handheld sessions. The product’s light blue color makes the cover easy to distinguish from a plain black case.

If you’re choosing between a shell that leaves room for the console’s own stand and one with an integrated stand, this design takes the integrated route: its adjustable kickstand is built into the case. That can suit tabletop play as well as handheld use, while the dockable design lets you keep the case in place for charging. The stand opens up to 110 degrees maximum.

## Usage tips

Install the console cover and Joypad covers separately. When fitting a side controller, wrap the case edges fully around it and snap them into place so the cover is seated securely. Before placing the console in the official dock, open the built-in kickstand to 90 degrees. Keep the stand within its 110-degree maximum opening angle.

## What to clarify

**Can the console charge in the dock with the case on?** Yes. The case is designed to fit in the official dock without removing the cover. Open the kickstand to 90 degrees before docking.

**How far does the built-in kickstand open?** It is adjustable and opens up to 110 degrees. Keep it within that maximum angle when using it for tabletop play.

**How should the Joypad covers be installed?** Fit them separately from the console cover. Make sure the edges wrap fully around each side controller and snap into place.

## Buying verdict

The FYOUNG NTT130D is a practical choice for Switch 2 owners who want a hard-shell backplate, soft TPU grips, and an integrated stand in one dockable cover. Its accessible cutouts support everyday console use, while the built-in stand adds a tabletop-play option without requiring you to remove the case for charging.
