FUNPX Foam RC Plane with 3 Batteries

For a first remote-control flight in a calm yard or open indoor space, the FUNPX foam RC plane puts beginner-friendly controls alongside lights and stunt features. It is listed for ages 6 and up and includes three modular drone batteries plus three AAA batteries for the remote. Headless mode and one-key takeoff and landing aim to make the first attempts less fiddly, while the foam body is designed with bumps in mind. The listing claims 45 minutes of flight time across the three batteries, but actual session length can depend on how the plane is flown.

Key points

The appeal here is variety without a long feature-learning curve: the plane has low- and high-speed modes, a one-touch 360° stunt function, and multicolor LEDs for evening visibility. Dual joysticks handle altitude and steering, while headless mode is intended to simplify orientation when the plane is moving toward or away from the pilot. That combination gives a beginner a few ways to build confidence before trying flips or faster settings.

The foam construction is lightweight and may be more forgiving during ordinary bumps than a rigid body, but it is not a guarantee against damage. Keep in mind that the product is recommended for outdoor use in calm weather, its wind-related claims shouldn't be taken as a reason to fly in gusty conditions. No dimensions are provided, so without that measurement, it is hard to judge how much room it needs for storage or indoor flight.

Best use cases

This is aimed at casual, supervised play for a beginner age 6 or older, rather than precision flying or a demanding outdoor hobby. In a clear room or calm backyard, a child can start with the easier controls, practice turns, and save the stunt button for when the plane is under control. The LEDs add a visual element for dusk play, though they do not remove the need for a clear flight area and visibility.

It suits you if you want a ready-to-fly-style starter with batteries and playful features in one package. A simpler toy plane may make more sense if you only want basic steering, a more advanced RC aircraft is a better direction if you need detailed performance information or flying in wind. The listing does not give dimensions or a separate battery-by-battery runtime, so expectations about fit and session length should stay modest.

Tips for day-to-day use

Start in low-speed mode and choose a space clear of people, pets, trees, and overhead obstacles. Use the controls gradually rather than testing the 360° stunt immediately, once turns feel predictable, the stunt feature becomes easier to try without losing track of the plane. For night flights, pick a setting where the LEDs remain visible and the aircraft has room to land.

The three modular batteries are useful for having additional power packs available, and the package also lists three AAA batteries for the remote. The claimed 45-minute flight time is a combined figure in the product description, not a stated runtime for each battery. Let the plane's behavior—not the headline claim—guide how long each session runs.

Questions before you buy

Are batteries included? The product name lists three drone batteries and three AAA batteries, the description also identifies the AAA cells as remote batteries.

Can a beginner perform stunts right away? The one-touch 360° function is included, but starting with low speed and basic steering is the more sensible way to learn the controls.

Is it suitable for windy outdoor flying? The description advises outdoor use in calm weather, so it is not presented as a choice for gusty conditions.

Should you buy it?

You may want to skip it if you need published dimensions, a clearly stated runtime for each battery, or a plane intended for challenging outdoor conditions. For a beginner who values simple control features, LEDs, and stunt play more than detailed performance data, the FUNPX is a plausible starter package. Check that the available flying area is roomy enough for a foam RC plane before choosing it.
