## Description

## Technical details

At 4 inches wide and 40 feet long, this brown vinyl wall base provides a continuous trim option for finishing the junction between a wall and floor. Its flexible vinyl construction follows the base of the wall, while the brown color adds a defined decorative edge.

The peel-and-stick backing makes this a surface-applied alternative to trim installed with screws or drilled fasteners. Measure and cut the strip to the lengths needed for the room, then press it onto a smooth, wiped surface.

- Type: Self-adhesive vinyl wall base

## Everyday compatibility

This flexible baseboard trim is designed for use along walls in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, hallways, and garages. It can also be used in offices, meeting rooms, and schools. The brown finish gives the lower edge of a wall a consistent look while helping protect that area as part of everyday room use.

The adhesive installation is suited to smooth surfaces. For a straightforward application, wipe the surface first, measure the run, and cut the trim to the required length. This format works well when you want a continuous wall-base finish without fastening the trim with screws or drilling into the wall.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Plan the placement before removing the backing, and cut each section to the measured length. Peel away the backing tape, position the trim on the clean, smooth surface, and press firmly along its length. The manufacturer recommends moving a roller tool back and forth over the trim to help press it flat and secure it after installation.

Temperature is relevant during application: if the room is below 68°F, warm the adhesive with a hair dryer before sticking the trim to the wall. This practical step supports the peel-and-stick installation process in cooler conditions.

Customer feedback often praises the trim’s appearance, ease of cutting, and functionality. Some buyers report that it adheres well, while others describe adhesion and durability as inconsistent. Careful surface preparation and following the installation steps are useful parts of planning a clean application.

## Practical questions

Can the trim be cut to fit a room? Yes. Measure the wall run and cut the vinyl base to the desired length before applying it.

What surface should it be applied to? The installation directions call for a smooth surface that has been wiped clean before the adhesive backing is applied.

What should I do if the temperature is below 68°F? Warm the adhesive with a hair dryer before sticking the trim to the wall, as directed by the manufacturer.

## Is it worth it?

For a room that needs a flexible, brown wall-base finish, this 4-inch-wide, 40-foot roll offers a practical peel-and-stick format that can be measured and cut for the intended run. It suits projects where a decorative edge and added protection at the base of the wall are both useful, with installation steps that rely on a clean surface and firm pressure rather than screws or drilling.
