## Description

This foldable 60W solar charger from FlexSolar delivers portable power for short trips and emergency use, combining multiple outputs to charge phones, tablets and small power stations on the go. It is designed for outdoor activities like camping and road trips where a lightweight, water-resistant panel helps keep devices topped up and adds a degree of self-sufficiency.

## Key Points

The panel unfolds into a compact array that captures sunlight and converts it to electricity for charging via USB-C, USB-A and a DC output. It includes fast-charge protocols, which can speed up charging of compatible phones and power banks. The construction is described by the manufacturer as IP67 waterproof, which provides protection against dust and temporary immersion in water and helps in damp outdoor environments.

Built for portability, the charger folds down to a smaller footprint and has attachment points for backpacks or tents. For users who want a lightweight solar option to supplement a small power station or keep essential devices charged, the balance between power and size is worth considering. Note that actual charging speed depends on sunlight intensity and device compatibility according to the manufacturer.

## Usage Recommendations

Place the panels facing direct sunlight and allow the array to remain free of shadows for best results. Tilt the panel toward the sun when possible to increase energy capture, and avoid folding it while in use. For charging a small power station, connect via the DC output if the station supports solar input, otherwise use the USB ports for devices and power banks. 🌤️

For everyday devices, connect phones and tablets to the USB-C PD3.0 port for faster charging when compatible. If you rely on multiple devices at once, prioritize the devices that need the most power and be aware that output will be shared among ports. The manufacturer notes that optimal output requires strong sunlight, so cloudy conditions will reduce performance. 🔋

Consider carrying the charger in a protective sleeve or storage pouch when not deployed to protect the surface and connectors. The foldable design eases transport, but the panel still benefits from careful handling to maintain longevity. ⚡

If you plan to use the panel with a small generator or power station, confirm that voltages and connector types match before connecting, because adapter needs can vary between models. ☀️.
