## Description

## Key specifications

For at-home trims, a grooming vacuum can collect loose hair as you clip instead of leaving it all over the floor. The FIXR kit pairs a pet clipper with suction and grooming attachments.

The maker lists 12,000Pa of suction, a 2L dust cup, three suction settings, and noise up to 50dB. It includes six guide comb sizes from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch. Noise and suction levels can still affect how comfortable a particular pet feels, so a gradual introduction is sensible.

## Who it’s for

This setup is aimed at dog and cat owners who want to handle routine coat maintenance at home and collect some of the hair as they work. The three suction settings let you begin at a lower level, while the guide combs provide several stated trim lengths. It suits you if you want a clipper and hair pickup in one grooming routine, rather than trimming first and bringing out a separate cleanup tool afterward.

Picture working through a dog’s coat a small section at a time, pausing if your pet needs a break. The vacuum may help catch clippings during that process, but it doesn’t guarantee a stress-free session or eliminate every stray hair. You may want to skip it if your pet is especially uncomfortable around powered grooming tools, or if you need a specific comb length outside the included range.

## What you get

The listed kit combines an electric body clipper, a paw trimmer, and a nail grinder, along with six guide combs. It also includes a grooming brush and a deshedding brush, plus a crevice tool and cleaning brush for picking up loose fur around the home. The 2L dust cup holds the collected hair, according to the maker, it detaches for emptying.

That range of attachments is useful if you want one kit for coat trimming, paw-area touch-ups, nail care, and basic fur cleanup. A simpler clipper may suit owners who only need occasional coat trims, while this set makes more sense when the extra grooming and cleanup tools would actually be used. The product description doesn’t specify details such as blade material or replacement-part availability, so those may matter if you’re comparing it for frequent, long-term use.

## Practical doubts

**Can it be used on both dogs and cats?** The product is described for dogs and cats. It includes grooming attachments, but the listed information doesn’t identify particular breeds or coat types as a guaranteed fit.

**How long is the trim with the guide combs?** Six sizes are listed, from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch. If you need a different finished length, the provided range may not meet that preference.

**Does the vacuum mean there will be no cleanup?** It is designed to collect hair while you groom, and the kit includes tools for picking up loose fur from home surfaces. The description doesn’t establish that every clipping will be captured, so some follow-up cleanup may still be needed.

## Final verdict

The FIXR kit is worth considering if you regularly groom at home and want a combined clipper, hair-collection system, and set of supporting tools. Its 2L cup and three suction settings are relevant features for that use, while the included comb lengths give you a clear range to assess before buying. If your priority is a basic trimmer, or your pet cannot tolerate the sound or sensation of a vacuum during grooming, a standalone clipper may be the more suitable approach.
