## Description

This long women's down parka from Fitouch delivers substantial warmth and coverage for cold-weather wear, combining a high-fill down insulation with a full-length silhouette for added protection during winter commutes and outdoor activities. The Waukee parka emphasizes heat retention and wind resistance, making it a practical option when low temperatures and gusty conditions are expected.

## Key Points

The coat uses more than 750 fill power duck down for loft and compressive resilience, which helps trap heat while keeping the overall weight relatively low. The full-length cut reaches mid-calf to increase coverage over hips and thighs, which contributes to warmth without excessive bulk. The hood and faux-fur trim are detachable, giving flexibility between weather protection and a cleaner look. Practicality is addressed with two exterior fleece-lined hand pockets and an inner zip pocket for valuables, so small items stay secure and hands stay warm.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Fitouch Waukee Long Down Coat Parka**
- Fill power: 750+ duck down
- Shell material: polyester
- Length: full-length, reaches mid-calf
- Pockets: two fleece-lined exterior pockets, one interior zip pocket

## Advantages

The high-fill down insulation offers a favorable warmth-to-weight ratio according to the manufacturer, which means the parka can perform well in colder conditions without feeling overly heavy. The double-entry zipper with a wind flap improves protection against drafts and allows easier movement when unzipped from the bottom. Removable hood and faux-fur trim allow the jacket to adapt to different looks and levels of protection, and the fleece-lined pockets add small comfort details that matter in cold hands.

## Usage Recommendations

Use the parka when you need extended coverage for outdoor errands, winter travel, or commuting in frigid weather. Remove the hood or the faux-fur trim for milder days or when packing space is a concern. Consider layering lighter mid-layers underneath rather than heavy sweaters, as the 750+ fill down provides concentrated warmth and works best with breathable base layers. Note that, as with most down garments, exposure to heavy rain may reduce loft unless the outer polyester shell is supplemented with a waterproof layer.
