## Description

If you need a cushion for a 45 x 16-inch bench, this Fitfree outdoor pad adds a supportive seat with a removable, water-resistant cover. Its black polyester fabric is fade-resistant for outdoor settings. Choose one long cushion for continuous bench seating, or individual pads when you want to cushion separate seats.

## Product specs
- Type: Rectangular furniture cushion
- Size: 45 x 16 inches
- Thickness: 3 inches
- Color: Black
- Fill: High-density, high-resilience foam
- Cover: Polyester, removable and machine washable
- Features: Water-resistant, fade-resistant, weather-resistant, non-slip bottom, adjustable tie straps
- Use: Indoor and outdoor seating

The foam is described as medium firmness, providing a supportive feel for everyday sitting on a porch bench, swing, or other seating surface. Its 3-inch thickness gives a bench a defined cushion layer, while the removable cover makes routine cleaning more convenient. The plain black color pairs easily with a range of outdoor furniture styles, including wood, metal, wicker, and rattan.

## Everyday compatibility
Sized for a longer bench seat, this cushion can refresh porch, patio, garden, and deck seating, as well as indoor bench or window seating. The 45 x 16-inch rectangular shape gives you a clear sizing reference: compare those dimensions with the seat surface for a practical fit. Adjustable ties help secure the cushion, and the non-slip bottom adds another way to keep it in place during everyday use.

For a porch swing or garden bench, the cushion creates a single continuous seating area rather than several separate pads. Buyers also highlight the fit, thickness, and firm feel, and some appreciate that the cushion stays put without relying on the ties. Those impressions can help when choosing a bench cushion, while the listed dimensions remain the useful guide for matching it to your furniture.

## How to use it
Place the cushion on a clean, dry seat and position the ties around the furniture to help hold it in place. It is designed to handle light rain and everyday outdoor exposure, bring it indoors or store it during heavy rain or prolonged wet conditions. For longer periods without use or during extreme weather, storing the cushion indoors helps care for it.

When the cover needs cleaning, remove it and follow the care instructions: machine wash and low tumble dry. This removable-cover design is useful for seating that gets regular use, where cleaning the cover is more practical than treating the entire cushion as one piece.

## Practical questions
Is the cushion waterproof? It is water-resistant and designed for light rain and everyday outdoor exposure. Store it indoors during heavy rain or prolonged wet conditions.

How can I check whether it will fit my bench? Compare the seat surface with the cushion’s 45 x 16-inch dimensions. The rectangular format is intended for bench-style seating.

Can I wash the cover? Yes. The cover is removable and machine washable, the care instructions also list low tumble drying.

## When it makes sense
This Fitfree cushion suits anyone updating a long porch, patio, or garden bench with a single, supportive seat pad. Its measured rectangular size, medium-firm foam, removable washable cover, and tie-and-grip features make it a practical match for everyday indoor or outdoor seating. For a coordinated bench refresh, the black finish offers a simple, versatile look while the water-resistant fabric supports regular outdoor use.
