## Description

The 20x20x1 Filterbuy MERV 11 air filter has an actual size of 19.50 x 19.50 x 0.75 inches. Matching the actual measurement to your current filter helps you choose the right replacement for your HVAC equipment.

Its electrostatically charged, pleated synthetic media is designed to capture dust, pet-related particles, and allergens. A six-pack keeps replacement filters on hand for ongoing household or business use.

Made in the USA, each filter has a beverage-board frame with dual wire backing. The construction is designed to help the filter retain its shape in everyday HVAC use.

## Quick sizing guide

The nominal size is 20 x 20 x 1 inches, the actual dimensions are 19.50 x 19.50 x 0.75 inches. These measurements describe the same filter: the nominal size is the rounded label, while the actual size is the precise measurement. Compare the actual dimensions with the filter currently installed, especially if its frame lists a different measurement. A tape measure can help establish the width, length, and depth when the old filter is unlabeled.

The slide-in design is intended for a correctly sized filter slot. During installation, turn off the system, remove the intake-vent cover, and position the new filter to match the airflow direction indicated at the slot. Then replace the cover and restore power.

## What you’ll notice day to day

MERV 11 synthetic media targets dust, pet particles, and allergens, making this filter a practical replacement for routine home or business HVAC maintenance. Filterbuy states that its media captures 95% of dust, while the electrostatic charge and pleated surface help collect microscopic particles. The pleated construction has 14 pleats per foot, providing a defined filtering surface within the listed size.

The frame combines beverage board with dual wire backing, a construction intended to support durability and resist warping. For a typical replacement routine, the manufacturer generally recommends changing the filter every 90 days. Household conditions—including pets and allergy concerns—can affect how often a replacement is appropriate.

Buyers often praise dust reduction, airflow, and the filter’s sturdy feel. Feedback about fit and durability is mixed, so matching the precise dimensions to your existing filter is a useful part of choosing this replacement. Compared with a basic fiberglass filter, this option uses electrostatically charged pleated media and carries a MERV 11 rating.

## What to clarify

**How do I know whether this is the right size?** Compare the actual dimensions, 19.50 x 19.50 x 0.75 inches, with the measurements of your current filter and filter slot. The 20 x 20 x 1-inch label is the nominal size, not the exact measurement.

**Which systems can use this filter?** It is listed for air cleaners, air conditioners, furnaces, HVAC systems, and heat pumps. Choose the correct size for the equipment’s filter slot and follow the airflow direction during installation.

**How often should I replace it?** The manufacturer generally recommends replacement every 90 days. Conditions such as pets and allergy concerns can affect the replacement interval.

## Should you buy it?

This six-pack suits shoppers looking for a MERV 11 pleated replacement for a properly sized HVAC filter slot, with media designed to capture dust and pet- and allergy-related particles. Its actual dimensions, dual-wire-backed frame, and six-filter quantity make it a straightforward choice for planned filter changes at home or in a business.
