## Description

Replacing a filter in a residential air conditioner or furnace is straightforward with the Filter King FKFB20X25-6. This six-pack gives you replacement filters for ongoing household maintenance. Its pleated MERV 8 design is made to capture airborne particles while maintaining airflow. Choose it for a familiar slide-in replacement rather than a different filter format.

## How to use it
Open the filter slot, slide in a replacement, and close the slot. The filter is designed for compatible residential air conditioners and furnaces, with a rectangular shape and slide-in mounting. Check the size used by your system: 20 x 25 x 1 inches is the nominal size, while the actual filter measures 19.5 x 24.5 x .75 inches. Matching the actual dimensions to the filter space helps you choose a replacement that fits your setup.

For routine home care, the manufacturer recommends changing one-inch filters every 30 to 90 days. The filters can last up to 90 days, depending on use. Having six in one pack keeps replacements available for future changes, rather than requiring a separate purchase each time.

## Pros
MERV 8 filtration and a pleated polypropylene construction make this filter a practical option for capturing airborne particles in a home HVAC system. The design is intended to help manage dust and allergens without impacting airflow, combining particle capture with the airflow needs of heating and cooling equipment.

The six-filter pack supports a regular replacement routine, and the slide-in format keeps installation simple: open the slot, insert the filter, and close it. If you are comparing a single replacement with a multipack, this option provides six filters for scheduled maintenance. It’s a great fit if you want MERV 8 filtration in a familiar size for a compatible residential AC or furnace.

## Worth noting
The listed actual dimensions are smaller than the nominal 20 x 25 x 1-inch size. That distinction matters when matching a filter to its housing, so use 19.5 x 24.5 x .75 inches as the physical measurement when comparing fit.

Buyer feedback is mixed on fit. Some customers say the filter fits their setup, while others report gaps around the edges or a size that does not suit their filter slot. These are reports from individual setups, the stated actual dimensions provide a concrete reference for checking the size your system uses. Customers also describe the filters as useful for capturing dust and dander, and some appreciate their airflow in use.

## Before you decide
**What are the actual dimensions?** The filter measures 19.5 x 24.5 x .75 inches. Its nominal size is 20 x 25 x 1 inches, so compare the actual measurement with the dimensions required by your filter housing.

**Will it work with my air conditioner or furnace?** It is intended for compatible residential HVAC systems, including air conditioners and furnaces. The relevant fit is the filter slot size and its slide-in format.

**How often should I replace it?** The manufacturer recommends changing one-inch filters every 30 to 90 days and says these filters can last up to 90 days. Your replacement schedule can follow the needs of your home and system.

## Buying verdict
For homeowners who need a rectangular, slide-in MERV 8 replacement for a compatible residential air conditioner or furnace, the Filter King FKFB20X25-6 brings together a pleated design and six filters for ongoing maintenance. Its actual dimensions make it easier to compare the filter with the space in your system, while the multipack helps keep future replacements on hand.
