The nominal size and actual measurements are not identical, so use the actual size when comparing this filter with the one currently installed. The product information recommends changing 1-inch filters every 30–90 days and says these may last up to 90 days. Treat that as guidance rather than a fixed schedule for every home or system.
Everyday use
The pleated filter is intended to trap airborne particles, and MERV 8 gives shoppers a rating to compare with other replacement filters. The listing describes it for dust and allergy control, but it does not provide a specific particle-capture breakdown. It makes sense if you want a multipack for a compatible AC or furnace and have confirmed the measurements. It may not suit you if your slot calls for a different size or rating.
Buyer feedback is generally positive about how the filters function, with some people saying they help keep dust down. Opinions on sizing and sturdiness are mixed, and some buyers report that a filter did not stay securely in its frame. That makes the actual dimensions and a stable fit important considerations, rather than relying on the nominal size alone. Compared with buying a filter based only on its printed size, matching the measured replacement to the slot is the more useful approach here.
Included in the package
The package includes four rectangular Filter King air filters. That gives you replacements on hand, but the listing does not specify additional parts or accessories.
Practical questions
What are the filter’s actual dimensions? The listed actual size is 21.5 x 25.5 x 0.75 inches, 22x26x1 is the nominal size.
What appliances is it listed for? The product information names air conditioners and furnaces, with slide-in mounting.
How often should it be replaced? The listing recommends changing 1-inch filters every 30–90 days and gives up to 90 days as the stated potential lifespan. Your replacement timing may depend on your system and use.
Final verdict
This four-pack is worth considering when you need a MERV 8 filter in the listed nominal size and the actual measurements fit your unit. Its clearest buying advantage is having four replacements together, the main point to weigh is fit, especially given mixed buyer feedback on sizing and whether the filter stays in place. Choose by the actual dimensions, not just the 22x26x1 label.
