FENDALE SMYX02-Putty Portable Baby Sound Machine with Bluetooth 5.4 and 20 Sounds
Product description
Bluetooth 5.4 lets the FENDALE SMYX02-Putty stream audio from a compatible device, while 20 built-in sounds provide an option when you want playback without streaming. Its compact size and silicone strap are intended to make it easier to bring along for nursery routines or outings. The listed auto-off timer is 90 minutes, so its timer setting may not suit every sleep routine.

The dual-mode setup is the main buying distinction: this is not limited to preset noise, since it can also play streamed music, lullabies, and audiobooks. At the same time, the listed 90-minute timer is a specific auto-off setting, not evidence of customizable timer lengths. Buyers looking for a particular timer schedule should account for that before choosing it.
Best use cases
For a bedtime routine, the built-in sounds can be selected without relying on a phone connection. Away from home, the compact body and silicone strap are designed for carrying and attachment to items such as a stroller or car seat. The product also supports Bluetooth playback, which gives it a broader role than a sound-only machine for travel, a dorm room, or other everyday listening.
Customer feedback highlights sound quality, the range of sound choices, battery life, and portability. Some buyers also describe it as useful when traveling with a newborn. Those comments are individual impressions, not a guarantee of how loud it will seem in a particular setting or how long a charge will last in every mode. The listed battery estimate is up to 15 hours.
Worth considering if you want preset soothing sounds and Bluetooth playback in one small device. Compared with choosing a dedicated sound-only machine, this one adds streaming, a standalone speaker may make more sense if Bluetooth audio, rather than sleep sounds, is your main priority. Not the best choice if you need an auto-off schedule other than the stated 90-minute timer. The manufacturer’s recommended age is 18 months to 3 years, a detail to weigh if shopping for a younger infant.
What’s included
The product details identify the rechargeable battery as included. They do not specify whether a USB-C charging cable or other accessories come in the box, so those items should not be assumed from the available information.
Questions before you buy
Can it play audio from a phone? Yes. Bluetooth 5.4 supports wireless streaming of music, lullabies, and audiobooks without an app or Wi-Fi.
Does it have sounds built in? Yes. It offers 20 soothing sounds, including white noise, ocean waves, and heartbeat sounds, so streaming is not required to use those options.
What age is it recommended for? The listed manufacturer-recommended age is 18 months to 3 years. That age guidance is worth noting alongside the broader baby-focused product description.
Final verdict
The SMYX02-Putty is most compelling for someone who wants a portable sound machine that can also serve as a Bluetooth speaker, rather than a device dedicated only to preset noise. Its built-in sound selection, strap, USB-C charging, and stated battery life suit home and travel use. The key trade-offs to consider are the 90-minute auto-off setting and the listed age recommendation, if either conflicts with your needs, a product with a different timer or age guidance may be a better fit.
