## Description

For removing a cartridge-style oil filter cap during a Toyota or Lexus oil change, the Felisbieti TZ-1 is a dedicated 64mm, 14-flute socket wrench. Its low-profile shape is designed for access in tight engine bays. Chromium-molybdenum steel and a choice of compatible drive tools make it a practical addition to a DIY oil-change setup.

## Tech summary
- Type: 64mm, 14-flute oil filter wrench
- Material: Chromium-molybdenum steel
- Drive options: 3/8-inch drive extension bar or wrench, 24mm wrench or socket
- Weight: 2.7 ounces
- Included: One socket wrench

The fluted socket is made to engage the matching filter cap profile, rather than relying on a general-purpose chain wrench around the filter. Its low profile also helps when the filter sits in a confined area, where direct access to the cap can make the removal task more manageable. The tool is intended for both the oil filter housing and filter cover cap applications described for this wrench.

## What it works with
The TZ-1 is listed for Toyota and Lexus cartridge-style oil filters, including applications on the Camry, Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, RAV4, Corolla, Highlander, and Prius. Compatibility depends on the filter cap itself: the required fit is a 14-flute pattern measuring 64mm across the flats. Check the cap profile against that specification before selecting the wrench, particularly if the vehicle has a replacement filter housing or a different cap.

The wrench is also listed for filter cover cap 15620-31060. For installation or removal, use a 3/8-inch drive extension bar or wrench, or a 24mm wrench or socket. These options let you work with either a ratchet-style drive setup or a compatible wrench already in your toolkit.

## Everyday use
During an oil change, the socket fits over the matching cap so force can be applied through the cap’s flutes. The compact, low-profile design is useful when surrounding engine components leave limited room to position a tool. After the job, wipe the wrench clean and apply a light coat of anti-rust oil before storage, especially if it will sit unused for a while.

Buyer feedback highlights fit and construction, with some comments noting the compact shape for tighter spaces. Opinions vary on sizing, how securely the wrench stays on an extension, and long-term durability. Matching the filter cap’s size and flute pattern to the tool is the key step in choosing the right fit for the job.

## When it makes sense
This socket is suited to DIY maintenance on a compatible Toyota or Lexus cartridge-style filter when you want a tool shaped for the filter cap rather than a more general chain wrench. It is especially relevant for work in a cramped engine bay, where a low-profile socket can provide a direct approach to the cap. If your vehicle uses the specified 64mm, 14-flute cap, the Felisbieti TZ-1 pairs that dedicated fit with chromium-molybdenum steel construction and flexible drive options for routine oil-filter removal.
