FEED GARDEN JC-LXDM-16IN-4 16-Inch Steel Spiral Ground Anchors, 4-Pack

When an outdoor setup needs more ground engagement, a 16-inch screw-in anchor offers a different approach than a shorter stake. These FEED GARDEN anchors use a deep spiral to secure ropes or straps for tents, canopies, trampolines, swing sets, and other outdoor equipment.

The four-piece set is made from 9 mm solid steel and has bright orange, powder-coated finishes. Each folding top ring provides an attachment point for a tie-down and folds down when not in use.

At a glance

Each anchor measures 16 inches long and has a spiral design that screws into the ground for added soil engagement. The solid steel construction and rust-resistant orange powder coating are suited to outdoor tie-down use. The folding ring lifts for attaching a rope or strap, then folds down when the anchor is not in use.

Use the set for a campsite or backyard setup that needs tie-down points for a tent, canopy, trampoline, swing set, gazebo, dog tie-out, garden decoration, or outdoor inflatable. The longer length is useful when deeper engagement is the priority, a shorter anchor may be a better fit when easier installation is the main consideration.

Tips for day-to-day use

For manual installation, pass the included rod through the top ring and turn the anchor into workable soil. For a drill-assisted approach, the hexagonal head can be driven with a power drill and a 14 mm adapter, the drill and adapter are not included. Soil such as loam, sand, silt, or clay that is not overly compacted is suitable for screw-in installation. Extremely hard, rocky, or muddy ground can make installation and holding stability more difficult.

After placing an anchor, attach the rope or strap to its top ring. Fold the ring down when it is not being used as a tie-down point. The orange finish makes the stakes more visible in an outdoor area, while the folding profile keeps the ring lower when stored or not in use.

Everyday use

At a campsite, the spiral stakes can provide tie-down points for tent lines or a canopy. In a yard, they can secure a trampoline, swing set, gazebo, dog tie-out, or seasonal decoration using suitable ropes or straps. The choice between a compact, shorter stake and this 16-inch format comes down to the setup: this version is designed for deeper ground engagement, and the folding ring makes it straightforward to attach or remove a tie-down.

Buyers often highlight ease of screw-in installation, the bright color, and a sturdy feel. Some also describe using the anchors with canopies and other outdoor setups. Those comments reflect individual experiences, the product’s intended use is to provide ground anchoring for outdoor equipment in suitable soil.

Final verdict

For outdoor setups that benefit from a longer screw-in anchor, this four-pack combines 16-inch reach, 9 mm solid steel, and folding attachment rings in a highly visible orange finish. It suits campsite and backyard tie-down tasks, from tent lines and canopies to garden equipment and decorations, with manual or drill-assisted installation options.
