## Description

## What to know
The Farberware 0.9 cu. ft. countertop microwave is a compact option designed for small kitchens, dorms, RVs, or office breakrooms. With 900 watts of power, it aims to deliver quick reheats, faster defrosting, and reliable everyday cooking. It offers 10 power levels for precise heating control and 8 auto-cook settings for common items, along with an Express Cook +30 sec button for a quick start. If you’re looking to save counter space without sacrificing essential microwave features, this model could fit the bill.

## Tech specs
Capacity: 0.9 cu. ft. Power: 900 watts. Power levels: 10. Auto-cook settings: 8 (popcorn, pizza, potato, frozen vegetables, fresh vegetables, beverages, meat, bread). Features: defrost, easy cleaning interior, child safety lock. This is a standard countertop unit with straightforward controls intended for everyday use.

## What stands out
On paper, the combination of 900 watts and 10 power levels provides flexibility for reheating and cooking with a reasonable amount of precision. The 8 one-touch auto-cook options cover common quick meals and snacks, which can simplify daily routines. The Express Cook and +30 seconds button adds convenience for small, incremental time adjustments. Easy clean surfaces are a practical bonus for busy kitchens.

## What may not convince everyone
Given its compact size, it is naturally limited in capacity and may not suit larger dishes or frequent batch cooking. The feature set is solid but not expansive—if you rely on more specialized presets or larger interior space, you might find this model lacking. Additionally, there’s no mention of advanced cooking modes or sensor cooking, which some users expect at this price point.

## Who it’s for
This microwave is well-suited for tight spaces and basic use: students, singles, or anyone wanting a reliable, no-frills unit for reheating, simple cooking tasks, and quick snacks. It’s a practical upgrade from a bare-bones unit if you want a few auto settings without stepping up to a feature-rich model.

## Who it’s not for
If you frequently need to cook large meals or reheat big bowls, this compact model might feel cramped. If you want more sophisticated presets, sensor cooking, or a larger interior for multi-dish meals, you may want to consider larger alternatives.

## When it makes sense to buy
If space is at a premium and you value quick, predictable reheating with convenient one-touch options, this Farberware can be a practical match. The 900-watt power level should handle most day-to-day tasks efficiently, and the child safety lock adds a security layer for households with kids.

## What to check before buying
- Confirm the interior size matches the largest dish you plan to use.
- Consider whether the 8 auto-cook presets cover your most common meals.
- Check that the exterior dimensions fit your counter space and clearance requirements.
- If you need more advanced features, be aware this model focuses on essential functionality.

## Practical usage example
Imagine you’re reheating a slice of pizza or warming soup for lunch. With the 10 power levels and auto settings, you can quickly select an appropriate preset or nudge the time with the +30 sec button to reach the right temperature without overcooking.

## FAQ
- How many presets does it have? Eight auto-cook settings plus 10 power levels.
- Is it easy to clean? Yes, it’s designed with an easy-clean interior to simplify maintenance.
- Does it include child safety features? Yes, it has a child safety lock.

## Final decision
Is it worth it? Worth considering if you prioritise space-saving with reliable reheating and basic auto-cook options, and you don’t need a large interior or advanced cooking modes. If you expect more volume or extra features, you might want to explore larger or more feature-rich models.
