## Description

A 1TB internal SSD for a laptop or desktop with an M.2 PCIe interface, the fanxiang S500 Pro pairs an NVMe connection with a compact 2280 form factor. It’s designed for multimedia storage and everyday tasks such as starting a computer, opening programs, loading games, and saving or transferring files.

Sequential read speeds are listed up to 3,200 MB/s, with write speeds up to 2,000 MB/s. SLC cache supports the drive’s read and write performance, while 3D NAND TLC flash provides its storage foundation.

This is an M.2 NVMe option for a system that supports the matching PCIe interface, rather than a 2.5-inch SATA drive. The distinction matters when choosing an internal SSD: the host device’s M.2 connection and supported interface determine whether this format is a fit.

## Technical details
- Name: fanxiang S500 Pro
- Capacity: 1TB
- Format: M.2 2280
- Connectivity: PCIe Gen3x4 NVMe
- Material: 3D NAND TLC

Sequential performance is rated up to 3,200 MB/s for reads and 2,000 MB/s for writes. The SLC cache is intended to support these data-transfer tasks, whether you’re working with multimedia files or updating a library of games and applications. The drive also has a graphite heat-dissipation sticker and a listed endurance rating of up to 640 TBW. A three-year manufacturer service period is stated for the product.

Buyer feedback is mixed. Customers highlight speed and faster boot times, while others report reliability and data-loss concerns, compatibility feedback is also divided. Those reports reflect individual customer experiences, not a guaranteed outcome for any particular system.

## How to use it
Install the SSD internally in a laptop or desktop motherboard equipped with an M.2 PCIe interface. The 2280 form factor identifies the drive’s M.2 size, and the PCIe Gen3x4 NVMe connection is the key match to check for the system. Once installed, it can serve as storage for multimedia, programs, games, and personal files. If the drive is new, the manufacturer’s guidance says to initialize and format it in Disk Management before use, the guidance recommends NTFS for Windows.

For a computer upgrade, this format offers a different installation approach from a 2.5-inch SATA drive. Choose the M.2 NVMe route when the computer supports the specified interface and you want internal solid-state storage for everyday access to files and applications.

## Included in the package
Mounting screws and screwdrivers are included to support installation. The manufacturer states that the package provides the tools needed to install the S500 Pro, so you can prepare for the drive’s physical installation alongside the system’s M.2 PCIe connection.

## Before you decide
**What systems can use this SSD?** It is intended for laptops and desktop computers whose motherboard has an M.2 PCIe interface. Check that interface against your computer before selecting this drive.

**What read and write speeds are listed?** Sequential speeds are listed up to 3,200 MB/s for reads and 2,000 MB/s for writes. These are the stated maximums for the product.

**Are installation tools included?** Yes. The package includes mounting screws and screwdrivers for installing the drive.

## Is it worth it?
The S500 Pro brings 1TB of M.2 NVMe storage, PCIe Gen3x4 connectivity, and stated sequential speeds suited to multimedia files, games, and everyday computer use. It’s a practical fit for an upgrade when your laptop or desktop supports this M.2 interface and you want an internal SSD in the compact 2280 format.
