## Description

## Technical overview
Some storage upgrades are meant to move files between devices, others are designed to add capacity inside a computer. The fanxiang S101 is an internal 2.5-inch SSD for the second purpose, with 512GB of space for everyday files, applications, and system storage.

Its SATA III 6Gb/s interface makes it a practical choice for a compatible laptop or desktop with a SATA connection. The 3D NAND TLC storage and compact form factor give you a straightforward way to replace or expand an internal drive while keeping the upgrade focused on familiar SATA hardware.

## Everyday use
Use the S101 for a computer refresh, added internal storage, or a dedicated space for work and personal files. Replacing an existing SATA drive can also make it easier to carry an established computer setup forward while adding solid-state storage. The 2.5-inch format is suited to systems designed for that drive size, and SATA connectivity helps keep the upgrade within a widely used internal interface.

Buyers often highlight straightforward installation and quicker startup or day-to-day response after moving to an SSD. Those are individual experiences rather than a guaranteed result, the practical benefit here is a 512GB internal drive in a compact SATA format. Feedback on reliability and usable capacity is mixed, so consider the drive’s stated capacity and your computer’s SATA requirements when planning an upgrade.

## What you get
The package contains one 2.5-inch fanxiang SATA SSD and a product box. A SATA cable is not included, so plan to use an available cable or obtain one separately if your installation requires it. After installing the drive for the first time, use your computer’s disk management tools to format and partition it before storing files. This setup step prepares the drive for use in the operating system.

## What to clarify
**Will it work with my computer?** It is intended for laptops and desktop computers with a SATA interface and space for a 2.5-inch internal drive. Check that your system uses this interface and form factor before installing it.

**Can I use it right after installation?** For first use, the drive needs to be formatted and partitioned through a disk management tool. Once set up, it can be used for files and computer storage.

**Does the package include a SATA cable?** The package includes the SSD and product box. A SATA cable is not included, so have one available if needed for your computer’s installation.

## When it makes sense
Choose the fanxiang S101 when you want to add or replace internal storage in a SATA-compatible laptop or desktop, rather than choosing a drive intended for portable file transfers. Its 512GB capacity, 2.5-inch format, and SATA III connection make the purpose clear: a focused internal upgrade for personal or business computing, with a three-year manufacturer warranty.
