FANHAO Metal Garden Hose Nozzle

For watering plants, rinsing a car, or cleaning a patio, a hose nozzle needs to switch between a gentler spray and a more forceful stream without making longer jobs uncomfortable. The FANHAO metal garden hose nozzle is designed for those everyday outdoor tasks.

A rear trigger starts and stops the flow, and a clip can hold it open. That can be useful when you’re watering a row of containers and don’t want to keep squeezing the handle.

The listing describes multiple spray patterns, a non-slip grip, and a metal construction. One detail is inconsistent: the product name says seven patterns, while the description says six.

Technical details

The nozzle is described as 100% metal, with a solid zinc-alloy head and a baked enamel finish. A rubberized bezel surrounds the dial, while the handle has a soft, non-slip rubber covering shaped to follow the palm. These materials and details point toward a sturdier-feeling alternative to a basic plastic spray nozzle, though the listing does not provide a weight or dimensions to help gauge how substantial it will feel in hand.

Water flow is controlled by the rear squeeze trigger. Engage the trigger clip to keep water flowing for longer jobs without maintaining pressure with your fingers. The rotating head selects the spray pattern. The product name advertises seven, the body description says six and specifically mentions a soft mist, a high-pressure jet, and a shower. That mismatch makes the exact pattern count unclear, so don’t buy it based on a particular number of settings alone.

Compatibility

The nozzle is stated to fit standard 3/4-inch garden hoses, with no adapter needed. That makes it a straightforward choice if your existing hose uses that connection. The listing does not name other hose sizes or connection types, so this information does not establish compatibility with nonstandard hoses.

For a quick yard task, you could use a gentler spray on delicate plants, then turn the dial toward a stronger stream for rinsing dirt from a patio. It is meant to cover both kinds of jobs with one attachment, rather than requiring a separate watering head and cleaning nozzle. It suits you if you want a trigger-operated sprayer for mixed garden and wash-down use. You may want to skip it if you need a verified, exact pattern count or specific spray settings beyond the few named in the description.

Usage tips

Start with a softer setting when watering young or delicate plants, since the description says the mist is intended to avoid flattening them. For rinsing, select a stronger pattern and direct the stream at the surface rather than fragile plants or objects. The dial is the control for changing patterns, take a moment to set it before beginning a longer watering session.

The locking clip is intended for continuous flow, which may ease hand strain during extended work. Release the trigger when you want the water to stop. The rubberized grip is designed to stay comfortable and secure when wet, but the listing does not specify a grip size, so hand fit may vary.

Before you decide

Does it have six or seven spray patterns? The product name says seven, but the description says six. It names mist, jet, and shower without giving a complete, consistent list.

Will it fit my hose? It is listed for standard 3/4-inch garden hoses. Other sizes are not specified.

Can the trigger stay open? Yes. The description says the trigger clip locks the trigger for continuous flow, so you don’t have to keep squeezing it.

Final verdict

This FANHAO nozzle makes most sense for someone who wants one hose attachment for plant watering and occasional rinsing, with a lockable trigger for longer stretches and a rubberized handle for grip. The metal construction and stated standard-hose fit are useful buying details, but the conflicting pattern count is a real drawback if choosing by spray options is your priority. Buy it for the trigger lock and all-purpose use, choose a nozzle with a clearly documented pattern list if you need a specific spray.
