## Description

For a record collection built around underground metal, this clear vinyl edition of Faithxtractor’s Loathing And The Noose puts the band’s fifth LP in a physical format. The album centers on death metal shaped by forceful riffs, distorted melodies, deep growled vocals, and a sound described by reviewers as aggressive yet controlled.

The record is a focused way to explore the work of Ash Thomas, whose long-running underground career also includes associations with Shed the Skin, Acheron, Estuary, Thorns of the Carrion, and Surgikill. At 37 minutes, the album offers a defined listening session rather than an open-ended collection of tracks.

## Usage tips

Set aside time to listen to the album as a whole, especially if you want to follow how its aggressive passages and embedded melodies contribute to the record’s overall character. Its vinyl format suits a dedicated turntable session, whether you are adding Faithxtractor to an existing death metal collection or exploring the project through this fifth LP. The clear presentation also gives the release a distinct place among records on a shelf or in a display.

If you usually choose records by familiar band names, would following a longtime underground project add a worthwhile new direction to your listening? Loathing And The Noose offers a direct entry point into Faithxtractor’s catalog, with the album’s own sound at the center.

## What you’ll notice day to day

This is an album for listeners who value weight and detail together: the descriptions highlight twisting, forceful riffs, melodies worked into distortion, and deep, dark growled vocals. Those elements give the record more to follow than sheer aggression alone. You can focus on the riffs, listen for the melodic lines within the dense guitar sound, or simply let the 37-minute runtime shape a compact start-to-finish session.

The clear vinyl format makes the physical edition visually distinct, while the artist and album title keep the choice straightforward for fans building a Faithxtractor collection. Compared with selecting a record mainly for a familiar, widely recognized name, this release makes more sense when you want to explore an underground death metal act with an established history and a defined album-length statement.
