## Description

This dark green area rug brings a moody, woodland touch to living rooms, dining areas, and bedrooms while offering practical everyday performance. The 5x7 size fits small to medium spaces and the low-pile construction keeps the surface soft underfoot while remaining easy to clean, according to the manufacturer.

## Key Points

The rug displays a mirrored kaleidoscope of moths, beetles, and dragonflies in gold, teal, and rust tones set against a rich dark green background. A scalloped inner border and vintage floral outer edge add a folk-art character that suits eclectic, cottage, or nature-inspired decor. Machine-washable construction and a low 0.25 inch pile make upkeep straightforward for homes with kids or pets. The textured non-skid rubber backing helps keep the rug in place on hard floors and reduces the risk of slipping. Consider that the rug may arrive creased from folding; rolling it out and allowing time for the fibers to relax will reduce wrinkles.

## Usage Recommendations

Place the rug under a small dining table, in front of a sofa, or beside a bed to anchor the room and introduce textured color. For best results after unpacking, lay the rug flat and weight the corners for a few hours if edges curl. Regular vacuuming with a soft brush attachment keeps fibers looking fresh and helps control pet hair. Machine wash on cold and air dry to preserve colors and avoid heat exposure that may affect backing adhesion.

## Positive Aspects

This piece combines decorative detail with household practicality. The low profile makes it suitable for areas with chair casters and foot traffic, while the machine-washable fabric eases maintenance for busy households. The design element provides a distinctive focal point without overwhelming other patterns in a room, and the secure grip backing helps maintain placement on smooth surfaces.
