## Description

For seniors and people with disabilities who need extra reach in everyday tasks, the EZPIK EZ261 combines a folding grabber with a magnetic tip. Need to retrieve a dropped item or collect a small metal object? Its claws and dual magnets offer two ways to pick things up. The aluminum tool folds for compact storage and can clip onto 1-inch tubes on mobility aids and equipment.

## Why it makes sense

The EZ261 is designed to help pick up items without reaching directly toward them. Its claws can lift objects weighing up to 5 lb vertically, making it useful for everyday pickups around the home or outdoors. The magnetic tip adds a practical option for small metal items such as nails, batteries, and coins—objects that can be awkward to grasp by hand. Using the claws for general items and the magnets for small metallic pieces gives the tool more than one useful role in a daily reaching routine.

Its two hinges let the grabber fold to 14 inches, so it can be stored in a bag or hung on a nail when not in use. Compared with choosing a non-folding reacher, this design puts a clear emphasis on compact storage. The tool can also clip onto 1-inch tubes on mobility aids and equipment, including wheelchairs and walkers, keeping it close at hand for regular use.

## What to know

The EZPIK EZ261 is an aluminum pickup tool with a 26-inch designation in its product name. Its listed product dimensions are 25.98 x 6.3 x 2.17 inches. The stated vertical pickup capacity is up to 5 lb, and the dual magnets are intended for small metallic objects. These details help match the tool to common reaching and pickup tasks, whether retrieving something from the floor or collecting a small metal item.

Customer feedback highlights its usefulness for picking up small objects and the convenience of folding it for storage. Feedback on grip and durability is mixed: some customers describe it as sturdy, while others report breakage or difficulty gripping heavier items. That makes the stated 5 lb vertical capacity a useful guide when choosing what to lift.

## Everyday use

Keep the reacher within easy access for routine pickups around the home, or fold it away between tasks. For example, it can help retrieve an item from the floor, then use its magnetic tip to pick up a small metal object nearby. If you use a wheelchair or walker, its clip-on design is intended for 1-inch tubes on mobility aids and equipment, so the tool can be stored alongside the aid. The folding hinges also suit situations where a full-length reacher would take up more storage space.

## What to clarify

**What can the magnets pick up?** The dual magnets are designed for small metallic items, including nails, batteries, and coins.

**How compact is it when folded?** It folds to 14 inches for storage, and its two hinges make the folding design practical for putting it in a bag or hanging it up.

**Can it attach to a walker or wheelchair?** It can clip onto 1-inch tubes on mobility aids and equipment, including walkers and wheelchairs.

## Buying verdict

Choose the EZPIK EZ261 when a folding reacher with both claw pickup and magnetic retrieval fits your everyday routine. Its stated 5 lb vertical capacity, dual magnets, and fold-to-14-inch design make it a practical combination for reaching household items, collecting small metal objects, and storing the tool compactly between uses.
