## Description

The open honeycomb mesh is designed to limit heat buildup while stripping coatings, which can help protect the underlying work surface. This EZARC set includes three discs in different colors and abrasive materials for varied cleaning intensity. Use it for paint, rust, and oxidation removal on supported surfaces. It offers an alternative to a wire brush when you want a stripping disc for surface preparation.

## Tech summary
- Name: EZARC Paint Stripping Disc Set
- Model: 80914452
- Format: Three stripping discs
- Size: 4-1/2 inches, 5/8"-11 mount
- Materials: Silicon carbide and ceramic
- Maximum rotational speed: 13,300 rpm
- Compatible materials: Metal, wood, fiberglass, and stone
- What’s included: Stripping discs

The black and purple discs are described as silicon carbide options for lighter or medium stripping, while the orange ceramic disc is intended for heavier rust and automotive paint removal. That gives you a way to choose the disc by the condition of the surface instead of treating all cleanup jobs alike. The listed maximum speed is a key setup detail: match it with your angle grinder’s operating requirements before use.

## Best use cases
This set is aimed at removing paint, rust, oxidation, weld spatter, adhesives, and scale, as well as preparing surfaces before a new coating. For example, when cleaning a metal part with both light surface residue and heavier rust, you can begin with a silicon carbide disc and reserve the ceramic one for the more stubborn area. The open mesh design is intended to reduce heat buildup, and the product is presented as a lower-sparking alternative to wire brushes. It is still an abrasive tool, so the surface and the amount of material to remove matter when choosing a disc.

You’ll appreciate it if you handle more than one kind of stripping task and want different disc types in the same set. A wire brush may make more sense for someone who specifically wants a brush-style tool, this set instead focuses on abrasive-wheel contact and coating removal. Buyers describe the discs as effective for paint and rust removal and value having three types for different cleaning levels. Some also question whether the set offers enough value for its cost, so that feedback may matter if you’re choosing mainly on perceived value rather than versatility.

## Box contents
The package includes three stripping discs. The set description identifies black and purple silicon carbide discs and an orange ceramic disc. No additional accessories are listed, so plan on using a compatible angle grinder rather than expecting a separate tool or attachment in the box.

## What to clarify
**Will these fit an angle grinder?** The set is listed as 4-1/2 inches with a 5/8"-11 mount and is described as compatible with most angle grinders. Check your grinder’s mounting setup and speed rating before fitting a disc.

**Which disc is intended for heavier rust?** The orange ceramic disc is described as the higher-power choice for heavy rust and automotive paint, black and purple are intended for lighter or medium stripping.

**What surfaces are listed?** Metal, wood, fiberglass, and stone are included among the compatible materials. The intended removal tasks include paint, rust, and oxidation, so choose the disc and pressure with the surface in mind.

## Final verdict
The EZARC set makes the most sense when you need a range of stripping intensity for surface cleanup, rather than a single disc for one narrowly defined job. Its 4-1/2-inch format, three abrasive options, and stated use across several materials give it a flexible role in home improvement or restoration work. The key decision is whether that range is useful for your projects: if you only need one kind of stripping disc, the extra options may not add much value.
