## Description

When pruning calls for extra reach through larger limbs, a long curved blade offers a different approach from a standard straight pruning blade. The EZARC Arc Edge blade combines a 15-inch profile with Japanese-style teeth and a curved edge designed to maintain contact with round branches, supporting a controlled cut for tree trimming and yard cleanup.

Its coarse 6 TPI tooth pattern is suited to wood, including wet wood, dry wood, green timber, and firewood. The set includes three blades for compatible reciprocating saws.

## Quick sizing guide

At 15 inches long, this blade is designed for pruning tasks that benefit from additional reach, such as cutting larger branches or working into a tree around obstacles. Its stated cutting capacity is up to 300mm in diameter. For routine branch trimming, consider whether that extra length suits the work area and the reciprocating saw setup you use.

The curved Arc Edge profile is intended to follow the shape of round branches. Compared with a straight pruning blade, this design focuses on maintaining contact across the cut, the offset, triple-ground teeth provide three cutting angles to help reduce friction. Keep the blade aligned with the cut and support the branch when possible for more controlled use.

## Benefits

Japanese-style fleam-ground teeth and deep gullets are designed to clear through wood efficiently. The coarse 6 TPI pattern suits pruning and other wood-cutting tasks where a fast, aggressive tooth profile is useful. EZARC also describes the tooth design as offering up to three times the life of standard blades.

For a practical yard-cleanup job, the extra-long edge can reach into branches that are awkward to approach directly, while the curved profile is shaped for contact with limbs rather than flat stock. Customers commonly praise the blades’ pruning performance, sharp teeth, and ability to handle substantial branches. These impressions are useful context, while the stated cutting capacity remains up to 300mm.

The universal shank fits most major reciprocating saw brands, including DeWalt, Bosch, Makita, Black & Decker, Milwaukee, Porter Cable, Skil, and Hitachi. It is not compatible with Ryobi reciprocating saws. Match the shank to your saw before installation, then use the blade for wood-cutting applications.

## Final verdict

Choose the EZARC 802060 set when your pruning work benefits from a long blade, a curved profile for round branches, and coarse Japanese-style teeth. The three-blade pack is suited to tree trimming, larger limbs, and wood-focused yard cleanup with a compatible reciprocating saw. Its combination of reach, deep gullets, and fleam-ground teeth makes it a practical fit for cutting branches where a standard straight pruning profile is less tailored to the shape of the work.
