Exsnugy Dog Bed Mat 36 x 23

A dog crate mat can be a simple padded surface, or a thick bed that takes up more room and feels warmer. Exsnugy’s washable mat leans toward the slimmer, easy-to-place option: it has a plush top, a non-slip bottom, and a stated size of 36 x 23 inches. That makes its measurements more useful than the “medium” label alone when you’re deciding whether it will fit your dog’s crate.

Its 1.5-inch profile adds padding without the bulk of a deep bed. It also sets a limit: dogs that need substantial cushioning may be better served by a thicker mattress.

Key specifications

The mat is gray and uses 300 gsm plush fabric, described as soft and skin-friendly. It is fully machine washable, and the product description says it is designed to keep its shape after repeated washes. The rectangular pad measures approximately 36 inches long by 23 inches wide and 1.5 inches high. The listed size is described as suitable for dogs up to 65 pounds, though a dog’s build and preferred sleeping position matter too.

The bottom is identified as non-slip, which may help the mat stay put during ordinary crate use. The stated thickness is the more meaningful detail for buyers choosing between a light, flexible pad and a bulky bed. Claims about joint support are not backed by further details on the spec sheet, so treat this as a cushioned resting surface rather than a therapeutic mattress.

Who it’s for

This mat may suit a dog that likes a soft place to settle in a crate, kennel, or pet house, especially if you want a cover-free bed that can go in the washing machine. It can also be placed on an indoor floor, sofa, or bed. For example, you could move it from a crate to a living-room floor when your dog wants a familiar resting spot nearby.

It makes sense if you want moderate padding that is easier to fold and carry than a bulky bed. Not the best choice if your dog needs a deep, highly cushioned sleeping surface or if the 36-by-23-inch footprint won’t leave enough room to stretch out.

Everyday use

The mat’s low-profile shape is intended for everyday crate resting and indoor placement, with portability for trips and outdoor outings. Its washable construction is a practical plus for a sleeping area that collects fur or everyday dirt, although the provided details don’t specify washing instructions or drying time. Follow the care label when you receive it rather than assuming a particular cycle.

Compared with a basic hard crate floor, this adds a plush layer, compared with a thick standalone dog bed, it gives up depth and substantial cushioning. That distinction matters if you’re choosing for a dog that sprawls, shifts position often, or prefers a more padded surface. The product description calls it suitable for all seasons, but individual dogs’ comfort with warmth can vary.

Practical doubts

Will it fit my crate? Compare your crate’s usable floor area with the stated 36 x 23-inch dimensions. The “medium” label alone doesn’t confirm fit.

Can it be machine washed? Yes. The product is described as fully machine washable, but no specific wash settings are provided.

Is it a thick bed? No. At 1.5 inches high, it is a slimmer pad rather than a deep, bulky mattress.

When it makes sense

Choose this mat if the dimensions suit your space and you want a washable, plush crate pad that can also move around the house. Look elsewhere if your main priority is substantial mattress depth or extra cushioning, the specified profile is modest, and the listing doesn’t provide detailed support or care-performance data.
