The double-sided grips cover a broad area to support traction on smooth floors, including hardwood. The fabric is described as elastic, lightweight, and breathable, while the durable bottom helps shield paws from hot pavement and contact with stones or glass. For summer use outdoors, these socks are not intended for long walks in the heat.
Unlike a paw covering focused only on the sole, these socks wrap the paw in fabric while providing grip on both sides. That combination suits dogs who need indoor traction as well as a layer of paw protection outdoors. The product is listed for small dogs, making this Small size the relevant choice for that variant.
How to use it
Slip a sock over each paw and use the detachable elastic loop fastener to adjust the fit. Keep the strap secure without tightening it too much, so it feels comfortable while helping the sock stay in place during walking or running. Check the fit as your dog moves, especially when introducing the socks at home.
For a practical first use, try them on a hardwood area where your dog usually walks. The grips are designed to help provide traction on smooth floors, while the fabric covers the paw. They can also be used outdoors for paw protection, keep summer outings brief rather than taking long walks in the heat. If a paw is irritated, the covering may help limit licking, but it is not a substitute for veterinary care when that is needed.
Buyer feedback often highlights traction on hardwood and tile, along with appreciation for the fit and adjustable strap. Experiences with how securely the socks stay on and how easy they are to put on vary. Some buyers also report wear or tearing, so check the socks and straps regularly during use.
