## Description

This Level 2 EV charger brings faster home charging with smart control and rugged protection, suited to homeowners who want reliable overnight replenishment. It works as a NACS Tesla charger and supports SAE J3400 vehicles, while also serving other North American EVs with an adapter. If you prioritize scheduled charging and remote control, this Level 2 EV charger for home fits well, and if you prefer simpler plug-and-play setups you may need an adapter or electrician for hardwiring. 🔌

## Key features

The unit combines flexible current settings with weatherproof construction, letting you set charging between 6 and **48A** using the mobile app. Firmware updates and scheduling work over WiFi, so you can plan off-peak sessions and monitor sessions from anywhere. The charger claims up to **11.5 kW** output, translating into faster daily range restoration according to the manufacturer. It includes a 25ft cable to reach most parking spots, and the wall mount kit aims to make the physical install straightforward for a hardwired 240V setup. 🌧️

## Tech specs

- Type: Level 2 EV charger
- Power: 11.5 kW, up to 48A
- Size: 25 ft cable
- What’s included: Wall mount kit and mounting hardware
- Material: NEMA 4/IP66 weather resistant housing

## Who it’s for

Homeowners who want a smart Tesla wall charger with configurable current and app control will find value here. The product suits garages and covered carports, and the weather resistant casing helps if the unit faces rain or dust. Note that a 60A dedicated circuit is required for reliable 48A performance, so plan an electrician visit for hardwired installation. For drivers wanting simple compatibility with many non-Tesla EVs, an NACS to J1772 adapter is necessary, sold separately. ⚙️

**EVIQO Level 2 EV Charger NACS** comes with US-based support and a three year warranty, and carries UL, ETL, FCC and Energy Star certifications according to the listing. There are trade offs: hardwire installation offers cleaner results but adds upfront cost, and full performance depends on proper circuit sizing.
