## Description

If you need replacement line for a Black+Decker trimmer that uses an AF-100-compatible spool, this Eventronic set is designed for that job. The listing names several replacement spool references, including AF-100, and a range of compatible trimmer models.

The line is 0.065 inches thick, and the product listing gives a total length of 240 ft. The package contains eight replacement spools, two cap covers, and two springs. That makes it a refill set with spare spool hardware, rather than ten preloaded spools.

There are two practical ways to restock trimmer line: wind line onto a spool yourself, or keep replacement spools ready to install. This set uses the latter approach and is described as automatically feeding line by centrifugal force. Match your trimmer’s model number against the compatibility list before choosing it.

## What to know

Eventronic lists compatibility with AF-100, AF-100-3ZP, AF-100-BKP, and AF-100-2 replacement spools. The trimmer list includes examples such as the GH400, ST7700, LST136, and BESTA510, alongside many other Black+Decker models. Compatibility is the key buying question: a similar-looking spool is not enough to establish a match, so use the full model number of your trimmer and compare it with the supplied list.

The product description identifies the line as nylon polyamide and says the spool feeds automatically. It also makes claims about abrasion resistance and cutting efficiency, those are manufacturer statements, not a guarantee of how long a spool will last in every yard or trimming condition. Buyer feedback is generally positive about fit and operation, but durability opinions are mixed. Some buyers report long use, while others mention breakage or line jamming. That variation is worth weighing if uninterrupted feeding matters more to you than having replacement spools on hand.

## How to use it

These are replacement spools for compatible trimmers, not loose line intended for winding by hand. Install a spool that matches your trimmer’s setup and use the included cap cover and spring as appropriate for that model. The listing describes the feed as automatic, so the line is intended to advance through the trimmer’s feed mechanism rather than requiring manual sorting during normal use.

A solid pick if your trimmer appears on the compatibility list and you prefer ready-loaded replacements to rewinding line. You may want to skip it if you need a different spool format, or if mixed buyer reports about breakage and jamming are a concern for your use.

## Getting the most from it

Keep the spare spools and included hardware together so the replacement parts are available when the installed line runs out. For a small edging task around a lawn or garden, having a loaded spare can make the changeover more straightforward than preparing a spool from loose line. The automatic-feed design is intended to handle line advancement, while the included caps and springs provide replacement components for compatible setups.

Check the trimmer’s exact model before opening or installing a spool, especially if you own more than one Black+Decker tool. The compatibility list is extensive, but the product is not presented as universal. If your model is not listed, the information here does not establish that the spool will fit.

## Questions before you buy

**How many replacement spools are included?** The package details specify eight spools, plus two cap covers and two springs. The listing also states 240 ft of line, it does not specify a per-spool length.

**Does it work with every Black+Decker trimmer?** No such universal compatibility is stated. The listing names particular models, including the ST7700, LST136, and GH400, so check your model against the full compatibility list.

**Is the line’s durability consistent?** Buyer comments are mixed. Some describe long-lasting use, while others report breakage or jamming, so feedback does not point to a uniform experience.

## Final verdict

This set is worth considering when you have a listed AF-100-compatible trimmer and want replacement spools with caps and springs included. Its clearest advantage is having ready-to-install spools instead of winding loose line. The tradeoff is that buyer feedback on durability and feeding is not consistent, so exact compatibility and your tolerance for that variability should guide the decision.
