## Description

Keep an eye on a driveway, yard, or entryway with a camera that pans and tilts to follow detected movement. The eufyCam C37 combines 2K video with AI detection for people, pets, and vehicles, helping you monitor outdoor activity from the app.

Its flexible, detachable solar panel can be positioned separately from the camera, so you can angle the panel toward sunlight while aiming the camera at the area you want to watch. Color night vision adds visibility after dark.

Want one camera that can follow activity across a wider area? The C37 pairs 360° pan-and-tilt tracking with local recording options and no monthly fee.

## Where it shines

The C37 is designed for outdoor monitoring where activity can move across the camera’s view. AI detection identifies people, pets, and vehicles, while automatic tracking follows movement. That can be useful for checking a driveway or watching a yard from a wall- or ceiling-mounted position, rather than relying on a fixed view alone.

2K video and color night vision support viewing details in daytime and after dark. The built-in spotlight helps provide color night footage, and the IP65 rating is suited to outdoor installation. A 3W detachable solar panel gives you flexibility when placing the camera: the panel and camera do not have to point in the same direction. Solar charging depends on available sunlight and conditions.

Buyers often praise the daytime image clarity, motion tracking, and straightforward setup. Feedback on connectivity and reliability is mixed, so a strong 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection at the mounting location is an important part of a smooth setup.

## Practical tips

Install the camera upside down, following the included mounting guidance, this orientation supports its water protection and detection. Position the detachable solar panel for sunlight, then angle the camera toward the area you want to cover. For smooth operation, update the eufy app to version 6.0.10 or newer.

For standalone recording, insert a microSD card, sold separately, the camera has no built-in storage, and recording is unavailable without a card. It can also connect to compatible HomeBase devices. The C37 does not support continuous 24/7 recording or cloud storage, and it works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

## Questions before you buy

**Can I save recordings without a HomeBase?** Yes. Insert a microSD card of up to 256GB for local recording. The card is sold separately, and recording requires a card or a compatible HomeBase.

**Which HomeBase devices work with the C37?** It is compatible with HomeBase Mini running V4.0.8.6 or later and HomeBase 3 running V3.8.5.2 or later. HomeBase 2 and Apple HomeKit are not supported.

**Can the camera be mounted upright?** The C37 is designed for upside-down installation. Follow the included mounting guidance to support water protection and detection performance.

## Final verdict

For outdoor monitoring that benefits from a moving view, the eufyCam C37 brings together AI subject detection, automatic pan-and-tilt tracking, color night vision, and flexible solar-panel placement. Its local recording options make it a practical choice for homeowners who want app-based outdoor monitoring without a monthly fee.
